I think we just took the worst of the four defensemen. Ugh. I had this guy outside my top 10. Prone to bad passes and poor decision making with the puck. I want to trust Yzerman, but I think this dude is a bottom pairing defenseman.

That about sums him up. His scouting reports pointed out that he has poor 60 minute focus, weak play away from the puck, a weak shot, and suspect positioning.

I am not a fan of this pick.

How good is Edvinsson? Lol!

I think I had Edvinsson around 9 or so on my board. There are some internet sites that ranked him way down in the 20s.

I'm ok with picking a defenseman but I just don't think Edvinsson's passing is up to snuff. It seems like everytime the puck leaves his stick it's a knuckler that's hard for his teammates to handle.
