if traded then yes since he’s been a big part of the team and jD might want to tell everyone this is sad blah blah we’re still building and not giving up on this season etc

I don't see what a Hank announcement could even be unless he's retiring today. And I highly doubt he would do it on deadline day.

Would they really hold a press conference and be like yeah we're trading him or yeah we're buying him out at the end of the year? I'm not being facetious, I'm really asking, I just don't know.

People are tight lipped. What little has trickled out seems to point to Lundqvist.

Still lots of chatter about Rangers talking to teams about Kreider, so that would mean there isn't a contract in place --- though maybe the final offer is indeed on the table and one way or the other a decision is going to be made?

But right now, based on feedback, it feels like Lundqvist.
