This team continues to play on the boards during a power play. Then, they lose the puck because it's more or less a 50/50 battle and it's an easy clear for the D. It's unfortunate because they don't have many players that can open up space for themselves which is what we need.
Watching other teams PP's, they move the puck quickly, don't hover along the boards like Hagelin, Boyle, etc. do, and work the puck down low, opening up space for the D to move in and dragging the forwards towards them. Either that, or they constantly feed someone with a booming shot, ala Stamkos, Ovy, Kovy, which we don't have.
