I can’t tell you how much I hate that jacket
for the most part i dont hate it, i hate that the manager gets involved. but now is serious time and they need to put that shit away and focus on whats actually important, the post-season. with how important every game is..that jacket seems ridiculous. celebrate with the jacket when u win, not with meaningless solo homers late in games you are losing that you should be winning lol.

I'd be curious as to how many people who are Jays fans would bail to be fans of Expos2.0. Because you'd have to have been born in the early 80s or beyond to be able to say that you were a fan of an Expos 1.0 for longer than you could've been a fan of the Blue Jays, presuming you were an Expos fan from the time you were born until they left in 04 and a Jays fan from that point onward.

It's like how if Vancouver ever, by some miracle, got an NBA team back I don't think I could switch my primary basketball allegiance back from the Raptors to the local team, in large part because I've now been a Raptors fan for far longer than I was a Grizzlies fan.

If Rogers is so concerned about the negative impact a return of baseball in Montreal would have on the Blue Jays...well, I'm for it if it means forcing Rogers to pump more money and resources into the team.

Do you honestly think Rogers is going to say “Montreal is back, so I’m going to invest more money!?!”

I doubt it. Jays never did this when the Expos were here, they won’t do it now. If they want to spend money, they will spend money and it won’t be because of Montreal getting a baseball team.

prefer to be one back of the yankees since we can actually beat them in a series still.
Yankees losing tomorrow is the MUCH easier path and we control out own fate then.

Red Sox have Bal/Was to close he season so I don't see many if any losses there for them.

Yankees have us for 3 then TB for 3.

We have the Yankees and Bal.

Need to win 6 of 7 likely to make it anyways but really need Tampa to help us out as well.

I hope tomorrow is truly the game where the Jays give Minny an absolute pounding to show them who's actually the team that's contending for a playoff spot. They got an effin rookie with an over 6 era going on the mound for them tomorrow lol the Jays better lay a beat down on them

I was born in the 60s and Montreal was my favourite team until 1977 when the Bluejays came into the league. I was always hoping for a Bluejays vs the Expos for the world series finals.

Badly need the Red Sox to win tonights game and we win.

Slight betting favorite right now with Rodriguez vs Montgomery

If he signs here long term, I also see him as a shortstop. I think Bo would make a plus-plus 2B

Also, Bo seems like the type of team player who would accommodate whatever change is required so long as it makes the team better now and going forward.

Unfortunately for him he has about 3 more years before we would entertain a big contract with him.
Eh I see absolutely no upside to waiting as long as possible to lock up Vlad or Bichette. Ideal you lock them both up either in their Arb 1 year or Arb 2. Don't let either of them get close to free agency if they are willing to commit.

I see no upside in rushing big money contracts when you still owe players less than $10 million for the next 3 years when they are on essentially a 4 team option year contract.

You take them directly to free agency. That is the obvious downside. They are both going to get paid in arbitration as well so it's not like it is going to save us money or something. It is just a odd risk to take with the two corner stones of your team. If they are willing to lock in long term after arb 1...you just do it.

I agree after Arb-1 is when you do it, which is after 2 more years.
