He is a “pass ball”
He should’ve learned to catch in the minors rather than costing the team games in the playoff race.
Finally, don’t leave the paper on the ground for the opponent to grab.

That's something you should take up with the team, not the kid who hadn't caught above high A before last year. They called him up.

Also, he's been significantly better behind the plate than Salvador Perez this year.

Well it’s not the same at all because the whole idea of the game is to get the advantage over the other team, within the rules.
I’m all for stealing signals, too, as long as it’s done legally.

Correct. Youngest player on the team, one of the youngest in the league, and extremely inexperienced behind behind the plate (and not nearly as bad as you seem to think he is, either). AKA "Kid".

Like everyone else, I thought it was weird to have a kid “learning to catch” while they were still in a playoff race.
 
If they go on to lose this one tonight Seattle will only be a game behind them.
 
I bet Merryweather used Spider Tack and that’s why he looked so dominant at the start of the season and looks extremely hittable now.
 
Now we get to use the good relievers when the game is out of hand.

At the start of the season he had all of spring training to get into form. This time around he seemed to have been rushed from his injury and his control is off.

But it's possible that Spider Tack was a factor too.
