We continue to thrive on offense from defense where we were top 3 in that category.

Win one of the next two, preferably tonight of course but I'm hoping the refs are at least consistent with their calls.

Get the first goal and Amp the home crowd, light some candles for Bobrovsky, he will be the X factor again tonight.
This should be the best Leafs effort we face outside a game 6 or 7.

Arguably Ekblads best game, broke up some defensive zone plays and 2 assists, he's been shifted towards a mostly defense first role.

As for Leafs best punch, we took it and still won, it's over for the Leafs and I pray they fire Dubas, Shannahan and signal a retool

Agreed. Dude was noticeable everywhere on the ice. Might be his best game this postseason and he didn't even get a point.

There was one play where the Leafs looked like they were breaking out but nope, Barkov is back there covering for the d-man and calmly collects the loose puck and makes the play.

He had multiple plays tonight lifting sticks and winning battles. When he wants to he literally can take the puck off anyone in this league aside from maybe Crosby.

He also rushed up ice with the puck a few times, something we haven't really seen these playoffs. Looking better each game but agreed, tonight he was a defensive monster. If he had played like Matthews tonight and we lost we'd all be in shambles lol.

So much pride in these guys for this exact reason. They've never been this team, I know I've wanted it since the '96 days. That's the last team I can remember playing this tough-as-nails style hockey in Panthers red.

It's been such a joy to watch. Bill Zito has single handedly saved this franchise and turned things around after Dale Tallon. The Tkachuk trade is probably the biggest, boldest move in recent sports history. Crazy how quickly it has paid off for him.

Imagine what this group can do with the belief they're getting in themselves after this run with so much dead cap. These next few seasons are going to be f***ing amazing but right now I am enjoying every single moment of this playoff run. It still kinda feels like a fever dream I'm going to wake from and be in some Bolivian prison after licking too many toads on vacation.

The boys are playing some really fun, entertaining and tough hockey. Last year we had the first two but tough teams exposed them quickly (i.e Tampa).

In a sick way, getting stomped by Tampa Bay last year was the blessing this team needed.
