It was more blatant than usual tonight somehow. Oilers literally getting penalties for the same things that the Hurricanes get away with minutes apart.

McDavid’s turnover leading to the breakaway in the last minute was pure idiocy though. All he had to do was take the puck back into the neutral zone in that situation.

I'm a huge fan of his but admittedly he has played some very careless hockey lately. He has to pick it up a notch.

Yeah AWFUL game by McD and what kind of play is that losing the puck high when you have a PP to milk the game away on road with one minute left and a one goal lead. So absolutely stupid a play. McD masterbating at the point trying to play keepaway, gives up a breakaway.

Thank gawd for Pickard and little else in this hot mess of a game.

D need to be aware on that play as well though. There's 2 of you on the ice for a reason. If McDavid's at the blueline you should be at center.

Did Drai do the hair toss? Hope in a weeks time we never have to see Stewed Skinner again. Even with an ordinary goalie like Pickard such a difference. Theres absolutely no way we win this one with Skinjob in net.
