What the hell was McDavid thinking when he turned that puck over with around 90 seconds left in the game? It’s brain dead plays like that that have been killing this team over the last 10 games. They’ve got a one goal lead, they’re on the power play and he does a spinerama just inside the blue line to put himself in trouble. Why not just skate the puck outside the zone and kill more time in the process? His way led to a turnover and breakaway for Carolina. Frustrating team to watch lately.

Theres no defending him. He got caught cherry picking at least twice letting the other 4 handle defence.

Connor is on a career worst stretch...He needs to be better, he knows it, he's said as much and yet he hasn't delivered or changed over the road trip. Im sure getting home will welcome for him.

I still maintain he's hurt and being stupid about sitting out and resting.

A win is a win, but this is nothing to be happy about, not with the way McDavid is playing...

Connor was great today. A couple mistakes/poor decisions but way more involved energetic and creative than in quite a while and could easily have had a couple points.
