Drouin to COL please. I'm not an Avs fan just a QMJHL fan who really wants to see MacKinnon and Drouin together again :yo:

You won't see that except on rare double shifting of MacK and maybe to fill if the captain or the moose get injured.
He likely doesn't even crack the top 6.

Why would a guy with 5 goals and reached 30pta once in his career be worth a 1st +?

I don't know if he'd be worth a 1st+, but:

1) Still young and not a pure rental.
2) meaningful playoff experience against top lines.
3) Very strong defensive player (top-10 xGA impact among all NHL regular forwards while playing on an atrocious defensive team).

Ya, he's a terrible finisher, but you're not paying for his production, you're paying for his ability to play strong defensively in meaningful games.

Lehkonen is low-key one of the better assets available at the TDL: A versatile, defensively-oriented top-nine winger who can be trusted in shutdown minutes and chip in offence here and there.

Would be a great add for Colorado, Vegas, or New York.

whoever wants Lehkonen will take Drouin or Armia or Price or Gallagher or Weber's contract.
whoever wants Chiarot will take Drouin or Armia or Price or Gallagher or Weber's contract.
whoever wants Kulak will Drouin or Armia or Price or Gallagher or Weber's contract.

What would the ask be for Montreal on Drouin going to Pittsburgh? Just picks? And I'm assuming any kind of retention is a total no-go.

By next year, we might be without Rust and/or Zucker.

Drouin could be interesting for a GM but what's his value
Qualities: Good hand, 2nd line player, good passing.
Default: Defense, don't shoot enough, don't like physical game.
What value do you give to him ?

I honestly have no idea. He hasn't been terrible this year (relative to the tire fire the Habs have been), but he's such a hard player to value.

I also think retention is definitely possible depending on the return/money coming back.

As a Habs fan, I would happily trade Drouin for nothing.

However, I like Lehkonen and would prefer we keep him given the return would not be high.

I call BS on Drouin and Kulak but would be very happy to see them moved. I'd be shocked if we could get a 5th for Kulak, but would gladly take it if so. Drouin is so frustrating, so skilled yet so soft.
Kulak has some value. He has played 23 playoff games in the last 2 years.
If a guy like Scandella can get you a 2nd and a 4th then Kulak can easily get you a shocked 5th at the least.

So none of them are going anywhere then

Drouin's contract is only this year and next so retention is probably doable considering we likely won't be good next year either.

Picks/Prospects are the target. Short term cap dumps can also be taken provided appropriate payment.
