I am more worried that elias pettersson wont have a spot at this point
No worries. Greenberg can't hold him back now. One or two asparagus together with the meat is ideal.
He’s obviously the best player in the SHL right now. He’s probably the best player I’ve ever seen in the SHL honestly it’s pretty ridiculous.

I remember watching De La Rose at the juniors here in Toronto and he was one of the standouts along with Nylander. He may be a good player even though Habs utilize him solely as a grinder.
Same with Paajaarvi. He was actually the tournaments best scorer last time he played for Tre Kronor at the Worlds. Give both guys a chance. I will be excited to watch what they can do with solid partners

Definitely an exciting team. Rakell could really be the one that puts the team over the top. As long as the goaltenders deliver.. but I have a good feeling about Hellberg if he's who we end up with.

Yeah, one additional top-6 winger (Nylander?) and the forwards look extremely strong. The defence looks to be one of the strongest in the tournament. It is only the goaltending that looks sketchy, but if the rest of the team plays up to potential I think it can be decent enough for us to win

I think Lias Andersson makes the team as a 4th liner. JDLR and Lander as spares. Silver medals to the Danish crowd.

Grönborg do not bring in NHLers to make them sit on the bench. JDLR is a lock for the 4th line. Lias will be the 13/14 forward. No need for Lander, i rather have someone like Rödin as a spare.
Sweden is going for gold, no other nation have our defence. The saying is that good defence wins championships.
Good defence, mind you. Not "good defencemen", especially when half of them are attack-minded, and when there's no top goaltender.

I don't see anything unbalanced about that "core 4" defensive group.
Klingberg - Offensive-minded player but also a puck possession beast.
Larsson - Has his strength on defense.
OEL - Two-way leaning towards offense. Rough times in ARI but hardly poor defensively, especially not in a WCH environment.
Lindholm - Well-rounded in every aspect of the game.
That makes for two really good, well-rounded pairs with one L and one R on each.

Have my doubts that Nylander joins considering contract situation tbh. One of Nylander/Landeskog would be pretty huge though.
Reports coming out of Vancouver today that Elias Pettersson is almost 100% going to be playing for Sweden in the upcoming World Championship.
There was some previous speculation that he might join Utica instead and play in the AHL Playoffs to start getting used to NA hockey and rink size

Lias Andersson makes the team - there's no question about that. He's already better than the majority of NHL players nominated for this team.
