Well you can't have Nyquist. Sörensen I'd wait since there's a chance we'll have better players than him from round 1.

Could be covered by insurance. Happened last year. But i dont remember which player it was but someone played as an UFA. Might been janmark.

The insurance is not the issue, usually players decline when they go into UFA because they don't want to risk getting seriously injured and missing out on a new contract. Last year it was Janmark, and he was an RFA, which is still unusal, but pending UFAs are even more unusual.

I am just saying it can happen. Swedish hockey federation will go in and cover it if the player wants it.
Never said anything about it being normal.

Pääjärvi was UFA I believe, but for insurance you need to know the player's worth, which makes it easier to insure players like Pääjärvi(who also plays for a contract), and less so for players like Nyquist. And as mentioned; you don't want to get injured while you have no contract.
Yep, Krüger is actually UFA this year and is still coming. I would be pleasantly suprised if Nyquist would come, but I highly doubt it. He is turning 30, this probably his last big contract of this career.

I want Arvedsson and Forsberg. And Lindholm or whats his name on Calgary. We might get silver but i think Russia gets the gold. A tripple would be totaly crazy.

Looking very likely E.Lindholm, & Backlund will be available, so with them on the team the forwards would look something like this:
Bratt - Pettersson - E.Lindholm

Which means there would be 3 spots left on the active roster when it comes to forwards.

Loui did finish strong, uhm, relatively speaking. He had 7 points in his last 11 games, compared to 1 in his last 18 before that. Maybe he can muster up a retro performance in a short tournament like this with better teammates.

Lineup today is the same as this, but with Elvenes instead of Bristedt, and Brodecki in place of Strömwall.
Well, maybe from today’s point of view but they started with 1996 world championship title and then went on to win tourney of century at the olympics in Nagano... at the time we had our golden generation of players Hasek, Jagr, Lang, Hejduk, Zidlicky, Straka, Slegr, Kabrle. They were almost invincible at the time.
