WC: Team Sweden 2019 roster

I always forget how this works. How many guys are you allowed to add after you've announced the roster?

Well who are they adding? Hedman + stralman will say no due to injuries.

Klingberg or Ekholm i guess.
 
when will nhlers arrive? for the games vs denmark or finland or to euro hockey tour? they should come as fast as possible, the translation from small rinks to big rinks always takes some time.

Depends on the player, if I had to guess pretty much everybody will arrive to play Carlson Hockey Games, like the last two years.

Maybe it's hard to get players to commit to these games? I mean 90% of them are just place holders for NHLers and players still in their playoffs. Which of these actually has a chance to reach the WC team? Lander, Rasmussen, maybe Enroth as a third string?

Actually asking them is a nice start, if you want them on the team. I've seen so many NHL'ers who should be on this team, that say they haven't even been contacted yet.

Adam Larsson
Robert Hägg
Jonas Brodin
Oliver Ekman-Larsson

6 NHL defenders and I guess they'll leave some spots open for players getting knocked out of the playoffs

Guessing they are not interested in Stralman who's had a an injury plagued season, and not interested in waiting for whoever between Ekholm/Klingberg makes it to the 2nd round. Otherwise it makes no sense to have filled the roster with six defnesemen already.

Dahlin hasn't as far as we know, and Brodin isn't 100% set in stone yet. Hägg sticks out like a sore thumb considering Ekholm/Klingberg will be available very soon.

Strålman not only has injuries, but also has no contract.
 
lets assume boston, tampa, carolina, pens, dallas, jets, calgary, san jose gets kicked out.

Hedman, Strålman, E.Karlsson are not realistic.

We have two righties on D in total in this scenario, and you wanna play them together?
I’d probably go:
OEL - Larsson
Dahlin - Klingberg
Gustafsson - Brodin
Hägg

Or I’d play Brodin next to Klingberg and slot Dahlin to the right of Gustafsson, but I feel like Gustafsson is more in need of a babysitter defensively than Klingberg is so..
