Believe me no one is itching to copy the renowned losers known as the San Jose Sharks

Well I don't know about anyone else, but I'm calling this team the Utah Coyotes until such time as the new owner can be bothered to get his act together and respect the players that he has "bought" by giving their team an actual name. It will probably be a name that half of us don't like, but so be it, lets get on with it! Go Coyotes!!

The votes are concealed so even once votes are tallied, we might not get a name announcement for a long while after.
Wondering if people expect a name announcement before the season, within the season or to coincide with the full brand launch next spring.

I suspect they won’t announce the winner until they reveal the entire new brand.

Look back to the kraken reveal and I think that’s the general outline for how they’ll do it.

If you polled the entire Utah Hockey Club roster do you think any of them would consider themselves to be disrespected because their team does not have a logo & mascot?

Would love to see the sweaters have some version of Utah’s new state flag on them. Maybe a subdued grayscale patch for the home set and the full color for the aways?

I could be completely wrong on this but my guess is that these jerseys were done weeks ago so that fanatics could make them to meet their dates

I love the UHC color scheme and have heard far too much criticism from the general NHL community. There are only so many colors and so little differentiation in the primary colors of various NHL teams. At a minimum, kudos to the UHC for being unique. Each of the below represents NHL teams. At a glance, I know exactly which ones are UHC, Kraken and Flyers. What I can not tell is which ones are Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa. or Blue Jackets, Blues and Sabres or Bruins and Preds.

Leave the entire brand in the dust. I’m really, really sorry about the Coyotes fans who had their team taken away from them due to AM’s incompetence, but Utah is a brand new organization and shouldn’t be saddled with the decades of baggage the Coyotes name and brand carries with it. Best logo and sweaters in the league? Absolutely, 100%. Does it fit Utah? No.
