Is Finland's U20 team management staff full bunch of idiots who don't know the rules?
The limit was 23 players so why in the hell Finland has selected 25 players?

Oh well maybe this is the result what you will going to get
when you hire total nobody coach who hasn't win nothing in his coaching career
to coaching your country's U20 hockey team. Saatanan tunarit.
Lämsä has gold from Youth Olympics in 2012.

Wow take it easy there. Sure i would've also liked to see Kiviharju there. But let's be real he was gonna be #7 anyway. So is it really the end of the world you make it out to be? Yeah sucks for the kid and i agree he would've been better than Ruotsalainen for that role. Next year will be his time to shine in this tournament and he should be top pair then.

Just maybe let the tournament, or atleast the group stage play out before throwing the coach under the bus.
I have 0 trust on Tomi Lämsä as a hockey coach.
Also as HIFK fan i haven't forgotten that Finnish hockey's most ugliest incident from 2012
where Lämsä was into head coach. Yeah i'm talking Ben-Amor vs Peltonen excecution.

Lämsä had a chance to make sure that won't happen leaving Ben-Amor out of that Nordic trophy game
but that mr smartass didn't do nothing. I'm not forgiven that for Lämsä and i won't forgive.

Hiring Lämsä to Finland's U20 head coach was bad mistake
and i truly hope it won't bite us straight into ass but i wouldn't surprised if it does.
Lämsä is nobody as a coach so long when he proves himself.

2-3 overtime loss.
Lopettakaa se veron maksajien rahojen tuhlaaminen ja tulkaa kotia sieltä vitun velli perseet.
Hyvä Lämsä oikein vitun hienosti valmennettu peli tänään. Hurraa saatana.

Some changes that I think Lämsä need to make.

• Put Lampinen in net
• Play Kemell in a top 6 role
• Play Rönni more
• Tell Vilen to let Heimosalmi handle the puck
• Fix the god damn powerplay

I would've wanted to you to shout in English. What an overreaction after one group stage game.

1. Leave Kiviharju out of the roster
2. Play Kemell as the 13th forward
3. Lose to Switzerland

That's three strikes already. Lämsä, f*** off! Fire this guy already.

The loss wasn't Koskenvuo's fault but yeah, sometimes he was shaky. Heimosalmi has to wake up also. I think Kemell on L1 with Koivunen in the 3rd was good, he brought energy, so let's start there.

This game against Swizterland reminded me of that awful 2017 WJC tournament where Finland went to relegation round. It's only 1 game, but I already have no hope for this team.

Was this supposed to go to Ilta-Sanomat comment section?

Yes media already has said that this loss was shameful and shouldn't ever happen and i agree. Lämsä isn't my favourite coach but let's just give this team atleast couple games more.

I must write that you make me laugh a bunch. Thank you for that, and no I'm not trying to mock you. I just get very glad reading your rants. It's like a never ending storm somehow, lol.

So long when you're not got moderation rights
you don't come to say me what i post in here and how and when understood? Have a nice day.

Quite difficult to get rid of Lämsä's incompetent coaching
when all best options for replacement are signed elsewhere.

We wouldn't be into this situation if those f***ing Czech's wouldn't stole
K Jalonen to their men's national team. Goddammit how that still pisses me off.

Maybe we have to give Lämsä one more chance in 2024.
But if those U20 WJC's start same way than these then FIRE Lämsä immidiately
and when team is back to Helsinki ban him for a lifetime to all coaching related positions
in Finnish hockey including women's and girls national teams.

Even if some people take someones posts with a grain of salt, or plenty of it (above)... Let's be brutally honest here, if some things don't change for the second game today we could be on our way for a second loss.

1. Slovakia can and will probably have a bit more energy after resting while Finland played a difficult game yesterday and actually lost.
2. If we can lose to Switzerland we can also lose to Slovakia.

So this game is actually already pretty damn important considering Finland will probably lose against the US if something drastic won't happen.
A couple of dumb penalties and we will have to suck on a sour grape tonight as well. Because they have just as good of players in their PP if not better. So that will be a key factor.
No matter which depth this Finnish team is supposed to have. Don't trust me?
Dalibor Dvorsky, could be better than every center in our team, who knows. If Kemell and Lambert play like yesterday? Mesar could be better than them as well.
Nemec? He's just a whole damn lot better than any of our D's and will probably be for the rest of his career.
Strbak is no rookie and used to the smaller ice.
Adam Sykoras is already a capable player who played the mens WC.
Honzek is a horse in the WHL and a top prospect.

Let's just say we could be up for a rude awakening if some players won't show up tonight.

Oh well, quite a typical Switzerland: disciplined, defensively well organized, hard skating (sounds eerily familiar) against a customarily slow starting Finland in the first game of the tournament. Any top team will have difficulties if Switzerland will play like that. Obviously we were pretty mediocre, the coaching was, well, interesting and the game was a flop, but the tournament is still very young. We will get a better idea already today.

I'm with you on the Lämsä hate from that incident as a fellow HIFK fan (atleast meathead Tomek is not there). But still i'm willing to give them a chance, even after yesterdays game. If today there's no improvment then i might get a little worried.
