I sure hope so. I'd imagine its Haula or Nurmi.so who is going to be the final add? Haula?
He is not even playing PK. Björninen-Anttila and Lammikko-Mäenalanen are the two main units.
On the powerplay pretty much anybody could play as the netfront guy instead of Sallinen
Meh I see your point but they definitely won't wait for just a few games since we don't necessarily even get to medal games. They'll register the last player within the next two days imo.Funny and unrealistic thought, so don't kill me for it.
IIHF rules:
"Players can be added throughout the tournament until the roster is full."
New plan for Lehtinen & Jalonen. Don't stamp anyone and get one of Rantanen, Barkov or Aho straight to medal games. It could be done if no injuries or game suspensions wouldn't happen. Mäenalanen should be reading this. He wants to get suspended so badly.
Defenders look good and Heiskanen is coming to strenghten that, so there is no need to do changes there unless injuries would happen.
If any series would end 4-0 on NHL playoffs round 2. There would be 5-6 days for that person before the gold game to arrive. It is quite unlikely that any of our superstars would lose their series like that though.
But to be serious, I'd love to get Haula or one of Määttä, Lindell or Hakanpää, but nobody else. If the players stay healthy, no need to stamp Nurmi. I'm guessing that Nurmi will get the stamp though, because it's been so silent after the Heiskanen annoucement and the fact that no other Dallas player was announced to join at the same time as him.
Well. It looks like that final add won't be Haula. Because according to Satakunnan Kansa, Jalonen and co aren't even interested.
Probably not considered a star despite his hot streak, and not a familiar. So not *that* surprising, actually, knowing Jalonen's MO. Team cohesion is everything to him, so he could be iffy about integrating a player he hasn't coached before mid-tournament.Well that's surprising that they aren't interested. I wonder what their thought process for that is?

Alternate, albeit somewhat more unlikely explanation: they're angling for Kapanen instead.
Sad. I guess it will be Nurmi then, only logical choice now.Well. It looks like that final add won't be Haula. Because according to Satakunnan Kansa, Jalonen and co aren't even interested.
Probably won't have to wait long to get, if not the full story, at least some kind of light on their plans. Since the story about Haula broke, there's gotta be some reporter or other trying to reach Jalonen/Lehtinen for a comment.
Jokiharju won't be on the team. He is already out and I seriously doubt and we don't need a D. And they are not lookinh at Sweden (per Lehtinen) so it must be Nirmi or someone from the NHL.You got too much faith on these reporters. These reporters didn't even ask a single question about Markus Granlund's situation back then when we were still considering him as a possibility.
I really think that it's Kapanen, but one more possibility or plan would be this. Jalonen is quite happy with our forwards and defenders at the moment and they are checking if someone gets injured during the Sweden game. Based on that they will register the final slot, for either for a forward in Nurmi and as suggested Tyrväinen doesn't sound completely impossible being a Jalonen familiar. They register Lepistö/Jokiharju if they want/need a defender.
Smells like Finnish gold brewing.

There is no chance Jokiharju is an option anymore.Don't be too sure.
There is no chance Jokiharju is an option anymore.
I"ll say its Nurmi 70%. I would bet my life for Jokiharju not being an option but that seems too harsh but I still give it 0 chance.Because you say so? My guess is it's Kapanen 60%. I give Jokiharju maybe a 3%.

I don't see why they would be adding a player again who already left. Who knows if he is even if Finland anymore.
You like to be optimistic with the almost crazy ideas and I try to stay realistic I guess.Just funny how we even spend so much thought on my joker card idea. We both agree that's it's a small chance to almost no chance in your opinion. You think it's almost impossible and I don't think it's impossible.

This doesn't exactly help with the speculation.
That's actually an indirect admission that they're still angling for someone from overseas. Because, let's not forget, if Nurmi is the only option left, there are no bureaucratic hurdles involving him. They can register him any time they like and that's it.This doesn't exactly help with the speculation.
