His return should have been a couple of days prior to the U20s. So you shouldn't expect him by then even then

Kid has been really heating up. He should take advantage of Nordgrens injury and play his game offensively. I have high Hopes for him.

he had surgery on June 11th, said to be out 6 months, last I heard he was said to be back some time in Jan.

Can any Finns tell me about this Lundell kid? I’ve heard some buzz around him but never seen him play. What are his strengths/weaknesses? I apologize if it’s been discussed but don’t feel like sifting through the thread.

It was (just) announced by Finnish media that Tolvanen will join the team.

The article doesn't say that the potential new player is from NA, even if that is implied. Considering Vaakanainen is healing from a concussion, might be better if he didn't come, for his own sake for the most part but also because it's a short tournament and easing into the game is not really an option.

We're too stacked. I got mixed feelings about it. Previous two years that was pretty much the case and results weren't good. No medal in either year. Hopefully it will be different this time.

I don't see any opportunity how Latvala can be in a viral team. Jokiharju, Vaakanainen?, Utunen, Laaksonen, Kokkonen, Thomson, Kaskinen and Heinola. All of them are better players than Latvala. And Latvala is such a bad skater.
