Now both Benson and Greig has openly said yes, if the get the call.

Since they have not been called, it should be a very good team. Cause on my estimated team there is not that many left before those two.

Good to see interest in going after many years where it seemed like players had to be begged to participate. They should probably play it slowly if Crosby is a potential add. A lot of players in the primes of their careers today grew up idolizing Crosby, which could sway their decision, so no point to close many doors yet.

If Canada invites Greig, Benson, Zary and Foerster, then the age balance in the national team will be disrupted. We will get a very young team.

I have to say I like players like Neighbours, Benson & Greig putting them selves in the mix.

Not that they are top, top or "bubbles", but it shows the right character. I would like players like that in my squad. Also for the chemistry in the group. 3-4.liners more than happy to play that role.

In a tournament where you are not going to have many of your best players getting guys that really want to be there counts for a lot.

They will play hard and help you win games.

Canada did not invite Quinn, Benson and Neighbours , it is encouraging, it is obvious that Rick Nash is trying to assemble a stronger team.

Jack Quinn has said he'd be open to it if they call him too, though with the caveat that it would have to go through the team regarding his ankle recovery.
