Pelech will make this team that is allJesus Christ dude, we get it. You want Pelech on the team. Have any other opinions?

They all have arguments to be behind him too tbh. It's all preference and less to do with being "better". I'm intrigued by the RHD moving over. That would definitely be interesting if Cooper doesn't mind it. I'd be all for it, but as for those names you mentioned, they are basically just names in a sorting hat along with Rielly. It’s really not though. Theodore, Weegar, Nurse, Pelech, Toews, and Chabot all have arguments to be ahead, and some guys on the right could move over. There’s far more chance he’s not on the team than he is at this point.
This situation and an injury to a key piece are the biggest worries right now. I started to feel chest pains when they pulled Makar out of the game last night.Price not back until the new year… don’t know when the team is announced but that will be tight

No chance in hellDoes Mangiapane have a shot? Currently leads canadian players in goals scored.
It would be really dumb if he's not considered if his play is still at that level by the Olympics.Does Mangiapane have a shot? Currently leads canadian players in goals scored.
Doughty has come back strong, the right side is ridiculously stacked
I certainly wouldn't call him a lock, or a favorite. No chance in hell
He might be, but that likely comes down to how seriously IIHF takes the long list.Is Tristan Jarry one of our best options right now…?
For sure but he doesn't have that name factor. Guys who are doing worse but have that will get looked atI certainly wouldn't call him a lock, or a favorite.
But he's on the long list (probably largely based on the WC) and since then has been dominant in the NHL.

Honestly someone as experienced as Doughty probably could play his off sideUnfortunately, the left side looks rather weak.
I was thinking the same thing, the left side to me does not appear to be as weak as a lot of people are making it out to be. Might this be because people just expect more awesomeness due to it being a Canadian Team? It's not as strong as other teams we have had in the past but it doesn't seem to be weak to me, especially with this thing being played on small ice I would think those guys will be fine.Toews
Pelech
Theodore
Rielly
Chabot
.....are still a pretty strong left side.
All of these guys would rank pretty highly league-wide no?
You are wrongNo chance in hell
Dayal and LeBrun put out an article on risers and fallers for the Olympic team. It was specifically mentioned that they were digging for names on the long list and while these are not 100% confirmed, they are believed to be on the list. They also mention that Kadri is seemingly not on the list.
Team Canada Olympic stock watch: Who’s rising and who’s falling to make the 25-man roster?
Risers: Stamkos, Mangiapane, Tavares, Hyman, Ekblad, Rielly, Hart
Fallers: Barzal, Seguin, Horvat, Scheifele, Hamilton, Pelech, Chychrun, Kuemper
Most interesting write up was about Hamilton. Said basically that he has been good but needed to be spectacular to make the team. Problem for him would be that Pietrangelo, Makar, Ekblad, and Doughty are all believed to be ahead of him on the right side. It also mentions that Parayko is another guy believed to be in the right hand defenceman mix.
Parayko has been awful this year, weak in front of his net and loses puck battles too easilyDayal and LeBrun put out an article on risers and fallers for the Olympic team. If Mangiapane and Hyman are being considered what about Drake Batherson. He has 20 points in 18 games and has been a physical force. Plus player on a really bad team. Easily been the best forward on the sens, a true play driver.Dayal and LeBrun put out an article on risers and fallers for the Olympic team.
