Dustin Tokarski (remember him) just stepped up and is kicking ass in Buffalo.

Cam Talbot
Mike Smith
Braydon Holtby
Jordan Binnington
MAF has a GAA of 7+

Man... Them's slim pickins. :(
I'd even add Drieger to the list. With Prices status up in the air, we have the worst goaltending of all the medal contenders

Holtby and Binnington have won Cups so... it could be worse.

Let's hope someone is HOT, but I'd settle for someone being luke warm.

I think Price is the only guy I'd be comfortable bringing based on pedigree. Other than him I'd roll the dice on who's hot.

I’ll be shocked if kyrou makes team Canada.

I feel like Bennett has a better chance than kyrou, and he has the Huberdeau connection as well

Looks like Kyrou is going to be making one hell of a try to garner some consideration.

I'd be impressed, but it came against the Yotes. and besides, I have Kyrou playing in the WHC in the spring along with a few other '98 Team Canada WJHC teammates. and can't do both.

Kyrou is a 23-year-old with zero track record in the league, he'd have to pace McDavid in scoring for a couple of months until the decisions are made to have any consideration. Which is not going to happen.

Parayko has looked very good to start the season, the embarrassment of riches for Canada at the right side is insane; left side up in the air especially with Chychrun’s slow start

In a pinch we can move Pietrangelo over to the left side. Not ideal, but he did play the entirety of the 2016 World Cup on his "off" side.

There should be no Leafs players on the team, Marner, Tavares, Rielly shouldn't be in the conversation.

Marner is a straight up loser. He folds under pressure, brings no physicality and can't handle contact, has zero shot, makes so many mistakes. He's kind of like Claude Giroux in 2014, good stats but Canada just won't need him.

Tavares is way too slow and his hands are getting worse too, can't imagine him on international ice.

Rielly is fast but doesn't bring anything else, no shot, bad defensively.

:thumbu: :thumbu: :thumbu: :thumbu:

It's amazing how many Leaf fans (myself included) don't want those 3 anywhere near Team Canada - especially Marner.

If Marner is on Team Canada, one of his mistakes will lead to a loss - bet on it! If it's in the playoffs, we're out. Leave Marner's mistake prone ass home.

I don’t watch avalanche games, so I can’t comment on girard’s play, but he never entered my mind as being on the team. Especially if doughty can play at a high level, that’s another spot closed out of 6.

He's easily one of Canada ~8 best Dmen. But he's undersized and Armstrong is one of those size queen GMs so not really a big surprised.

Pieterangelo, makar, pelech, ekblad, Theodore, doughty, nurse, Hamilton, chychrun, weegar and Chabot are all better than girard

Very debatable. I'd say he's probably even not one of the best 10 Canadian dmen. Infront of him I'd have:
Makar, Pietrangelo, Ekblad, Hamilton, Theodore, Chychrun, Doughty, Chabot, Nurse, Toews, Letang, Pelech, and Pulock. That's 13. I'd say Rielly, and Spurgeon would even be more likely to make the team

I don't know why but I don't want Letang.

I know why I don't want Hamilton.

Not sure how I feel about the NY's Double P's.

I like Chychrun. I also like Pyrenko.
