Don't like Reinbacher +Barlow in the first round but choose Barlow anyway

Perrault, Barlow and Stenberg is a lot to choose from at 17. Hopefully this is the run out on actual draft day. Would be really excited with any of those three.

Perrault is my pick. Elite offensive upside that would be tough to ignore. He is one of my favorite choices at 9… so easy decision here.

Otto Stenberg is the real deal. He 100% should be our pick at #17. Šale is too inconsistent and not Yzerman mold. I wholeheartedly believe Stenberg would be a top 10/15 pick in a normal draft year and will be a steal this year. Perrault is the sexy pick but I am not sure I see his game translating.

Edit: also wore the “C” for U18 WJC team Sweden. That goes a loooong way with Yzerman and crew.

He definitely can and does it sometimes but will learn to do it more at the NHL level. Absolutely zero worries on that part of his game as far as I am concerned. Some of the best backchecks I've seen this year have been from him. I'm assuming you're asking about Perreault :)

Yep, I was asking about Perrault, and I was asking for @norrisnick.

Just seen these. I'd have gone with wood at 9 and highly doubt perrault makes it to 17 after the tournament he had so I wont even look his way. Like musty's potential and he's still 17 for another 2-3 months I think so I might be looking his way at 17

I believe some of those NDTP guys are overrated. It's very hard for me to project them, they been playing together and know each other very well. Perreault don't need to worry about defense. USA u18 got lucky against Sweden, only good team they fase . Kinda crazy that 4 NDTP guys projected to get drafted ahead of any guys from Sweden.
Have some questions:
Is Leonard really better than Barlow?
Is Moore really better than Danielson?
Is Smith much better than Dvorsky or Benson?

I went with Barlow. I like the combo of goalscoring, leadership and 200 foot game. My first impulse was Heidt but Realgud had him ranked at 33. With Perreault only Button has him ranked in the top 20 so I took a pass here. Barlow seems solidly in the top 20 so that helped me make my decision.
