On the one hand, acquiring Tony for essentially nothing and getting his offensive skills at $2.5M is a no brainer. It's just good asset management.
On the other hand, it feels like we already have plenty of defense here without him, and one of Slavin/Burns/Pesce/Skjei/Orlov has to play on the bottom pair. If we get TDA in the mix, that bumps Chatfield to #7.
I see us getting Tony just to get his talent on the team, but even without the Erik Karlsson idea, it still feels like we have too many players.
