Great deal for TB.

Hedman is a 2009 draftee, with a late birthday, so he'll turn 26 before the end of this year. Add in the final year of his current deal, then this 8 years, he'll finish the contract before he turns 35. And given that today, we are seeing players signed until they are 37-38, this is an amazing deal.

If Hedman and Stamkos are still playing well, then TB can sign them to FMV deals when they are 35. Short term in the 2-3 year range.
