Creative for sure...it's lockout proof and gives him tremendous security...$71 million plus is guaranteed money...it's great to be an organization with deep pockets.

So I've been thinking a lot about where Tavares plays, and who he's replacing . . .
5 on 5: Bozak - decent player, but basically a place holder for our dynamic winger Mitch
PP: JVR - excellent goal scorer in close, but fairly ordinary otherwise

Tavares with Magic Mitch will indeed be magical, I believe.
If you are in a hockey pool, I think Marner will absolutely explode his totals, and be upwards of 50+ assists and 85 pts. And I think JT could hit a career high in goals, getting to 40.
Just think of this:
Tavares has NEVER played with as talented a playmaker as Marner.
Marner has yet to play with a dynamic scoring centre like Tavares (minus a few shifts with Matty).

On paper, it looks explosive, but only time will tell if the actual chemistry is there.
Looking forward to the season!

if you had a plan to trade a guy, you'd put his name up in promotional videos/pictures? I wouldn't. Of course leaving him out would cause a lot of commotion so just do a JT jersey in the room. Of course we don't "know" their plan.

Anyway I will add IMO next time I should of added it, but I thought we could all work out it was an opinion. but noted, people may take it I think I have insider info
