I'm willing to be patient for the Karlsson and Tarasenko news. Maybe Pittsburgh gets him, but I don't know, man. I'm pretty sure that Karlsson would prefer to go to a team like Carolina that is 100% in the Cup window rather than a club that is desperately trying to get out of a pickle that a prior regime got into. When NMCs are involved, trades become more about what the player is willing to approve rather than about the quality of return.
Yep. This is SJ's Jeff Skinner moment. The question is, which flavor of Pu will they take back?
SJ very well may have intentionally screwed with us on the Meier trade. At this point its very possible that they are stringing us along.
Bro c'mon. Noesen does NOT belong in the AHL.could management be trying for a 3 way deal the 2 team could retain 50% of Karlsson salary and we have him at 2.850 000 , i dont mind getting rid of 2 players like suzuki ,nadeau and 2 first round picks to acheive this , i would keep pesce , trade chatfield for TDA Noeseen back to AHL where he belongs ,and of course have tarasenko signed somehow
Sometimes I think he helps with the trial balloon tests or acts as someone to course correct certain perceptions - informally but inside if you know what I mean.Is he hedging or trying to be diplomatic there?
I’m not saying your reporting is wrong, but it’s not right.
Notice he doesn't share his intel? Just a an attempted flex that doesn't even contradict her original tweet. Is he hedging or trying to be diplomatic there?

Depends who he’s playing for. Right place right time right fit is the story for almost every tweener that’s ever played at that level. We found a place for him, for now.Bro c'mon. Noesen does NOT belong in the AHL.

75% has been done a few times, thats how the Rangers got Kane last yearDoesn't the max retention limit of 50% apply to the total contract amount? If it were ok to apply it to each of the 2 allowable retentions, that would result in 75% of the contract being retained.
Now we just need to stay healthy.Christ this team is probably the most stacked that the franchise has ever been, going back to the WHA days.
What a f***in time to be alive
Why did we not go all in last seasonI suppose all the wailing and gnashing of teeth about the lack of deadline moves this past year can be put to bed. When they say they build the team in the summer, they friggin mean it.
Disagree...we might hold out on a trade until Tank happens, but I can't see a UFA holding out for someone else's domino's to fall into place. That could result in fewer suitors and/or less money, no reason to risk that if he's got a few other close offersI feel as if the Canes want the trades, including the TDA one, to be announced before the Tarasenko signing is finalized. Canes lose significant trade leverage if they are over the cap. I would not be surprised if the Tarasenko signing is not announced until after July 9th.
Ok No issue with most of wat you posted but Noesen had 36 points in the national last year, he doesnt belong in the AHL.could management be trying for a 3 way deal the 2 team could retain 50% of Karlsson salary and we have him at 2.850 000 , i dont mind getting rid of 2 players like suzuki ,nadeau and 2 first round picks to acheive this , i would keep pesce , trade chatfield for TDA Noeseen back to AHL where he belongs ,and of course have tarasenko signed somehow
