With the Flyers loss and the Canucks win, it's now impossible to drop to below them.

Also possible we lose out. Kings will be tough, then as bad as the ducks are, its still back to back, and finish against a Yotes team that has played well and beat us last time we played. Not easy.

It will be interesting. I’m hoping they stay in 9th or get to 8th. Has nothing to do with the lottery either. That’s a fools game. I just really like Reinbacher and think he’ll make an impact on the team in two years. Top-10 gives them a very good shot at him. Failing that there’s a lot of interesting centres due around that spot as well.

I just find it gets hard to guess who will be off the board at that point. We make guesses that just never turn out. We can hope a guy will be where we pick but honestly, who knows.

Well yes, that’s my point. Finishing higher let’s them target who they want.

I mean…the entire second part of what I said focused on the other centers available and finishing higher gives the team the better chance of picking one they really like. It’s not all about one player.

Yes and top 11 where we should be at worst will give us one of them. To focus too much on anyone for us fans, who don't know where teams will be looking is hard. focus on the group, and hope for the best... which in this case is us doing the worst.

Is how I see the tiers. Dropping out of the 3rd tier is a huge L but theres not much difference in the tier 4 players imo

Vancouver's have the kings and then the last two are Arizona and the ducks. Given the coyotes and ducks are free points. A win tonight and wine in the last two take us to 83 points. The kings game is going to be huge for us.

12th is still on the table, just not a high probability but not insignificant looking at the schedules. 10 is now most probable, 11th/9th.

They’ll go 1-2. Losses against LA and Arizona. Win against ANA. Need Delia to start the Arizona game. Arizona is rock solid at home with potential Logan Cooley boost.

Going to come down to if Detroit can pick up a win in the last 3.

9th/10th is where i see them finishing which is solid with us already having 3 franchise players.
 
It’s absolutely insane that we’ve basically been out of the playoffs since December but are going to pick like 8th-10th overall. This team is so depressing to follow. No prospects at the playoffs and no top pick.

It sounds like Philly will abandon this strategy too now with their management shift.

We will be the last team left who doesn't do rebuilds like the rest of the league. OR the only team who knows how to build winners the right way, depends on what you believe I guess.

I dono about you, But the college kids they brought in all seem to have serious game, and if Reinbacher, Moore or benson drop, Its a huge year.

Lets hope!

Yea it’s been one of the best years as a fan in a long time. Our Franchise Center and Dman both hitting superstardom. Essentially a free top 5 pick in Kuzmenko who is about to hit 40 goals. Essentially flipping Horvat for Hronek. Topping it off with a top 9-11 pick in a loaded centre draft and a chance at Bedard which will make lottery day exciting.

Can’t get too greedy.

WTF are we playing Demko in net for? To establish a winning culture? For F*|>$ sakes, who gives a shit at this time of year. We will always have a losing culture and a losing team when we don’t give our team the best chances to draft higher end talent!
