Figured there had to something amiss with Hughes in the last game.....obviously sick and it showed.Zombieland:
The Canucks play QH for 25 minutes in the last game even when he is sick as a dog and then plan to play him tomorrow before he recovers and risk him getting injured.
The whole organization is just moribund.
Probably league directive tbhZombieland:

The idea that a team gives players the "option" to play if they want, even when they are sick, is simply bizarre.
So whatever QH has could spread through the team. Have they learned nothing from the pandemic?
The announcers were saying that QH was caught and got hit hard, and this was super unusual, probably because he was sick.
What happens if he is allowed to play and gets laid out again?
The owners, managers, and coaches are so compelled by immediate team success that they have no perspective whatsoever.
It's not how to build a culture, a franchise, or win a championship.
Some big games on the slate for the Tank
Montreal vs Washington is currently 1-0 Wsh
Buffalo vs Detroit is currently 1-1
New York Rangers vs St.Louis
Philadelphia vs Dallas
Chicago vs Vancouver
Montreal vs Washington is probably the biggest game. This is Washington's most winnable game left on their schedule and they are right on the heels of the Canucks for 8th place.
Canucks would need 7 points in their last 5 to pass the Wings if they get another win.Caps have packed it in for the season and I see the wings winning only 1 of there last 4 games. 10th it is.
Yeah, oh well. Maybe st Louis can hold on with 6 minutes left.Wings lose in the SO but get a point. Not a terrible result considering Buffalo were up by 2 throughout the game

(Who am I kidding with these results lately)
