Rick there it is! Rick there it is! Rick there it is! Rick there it is!
If there was a stanley cup for being a disappointment we'll be the champion for like 9 years straightOnly the Canucks can give u a Franchise C/D/G plus a russian rookie about to drop 40 goals and still leave you disappointed.
Just got to hope they stay bottom 11 atp.
LOL its literally over a 1/200 chance that happens. LIke its just laughable for you to mention the one abnormality in the past decadetill those picks become Oettinger and Robertson
The plan was long term pain all alongHeaded for the "Mushy Middle", the owners and management of the Club still appear to have no concept of how short-term pain can result in long-term gain.
Long term pain forever lmaoThe plan was long term pain all along
Incoming canucks partnership with advil.Long term pain forever lmao
Decent easy scheduleWhat are the actual chances they fall out of the lottery?
Is winning not good? Embrace this dominant stretch of hockey.Sigh, i guess as a canucks fan we really do not deserved good things.
Won't have cap space. No point in dreaming of Bedard now.
Maybe when he’s near UFA status and Canucks are starting their third retool.

Yes, winning is not good at this point. We are losing the Bedard cupIs winning not good? Embrace this dominant stretch of hockey.
A Wild Card spot and two playoff home dates are Frankie Blueberries' Stanley Cup.I see how this is all going to go.
The retool will basically work well enough to get us to the playoffs but we won't sniff a cup with this core.
Rebuild/retool has become a moot point, but we needed to ACTUALLY rebuild during those Benning years. Get picks, don't sign or take on albatross contracts (Myers/OEL), stock the prospect pool for a few years to create organizational DEPTH.
Instead we are now locked into working around those terrible contracts, don't have the youth on cheap contracts to counter those terrible contracts, and don't have the type of depth we need in our core as we would if we'd hit on 4-5 more good picks that we instead traded away for band aids.
The short sighted "We're gonna compete!" years of Benning have handcuffed the team for years and forced us to continue to try to compete because he fell bass ackwards into a couple star players.
Bleak as ever!
