I certainly remember that California road trip that may have cost us Mathews. I’m glad we showed those Cali teams…and built up some confidence for the next season. And we got to draft Juolevi. Good times!

I hope the casual fandom enjoyed wins like last night, when it's blatantly on the backs of our elite players and elite players only if the team is to make the playoffs in the near future, it's a possibility and the only way they can. So if or when said players goes on IR at any point, you can basically kiss the whole season good bye right away. We play GREAT in March when its meaningless to everyone, except for the players. They play for jobs and pride. We (the fans) want them to lose to get a higher draft pick to help the team out in the future.

Every year its the same...we are stuck in that 10 - 18 range where we draft (or normally trade away) in the first round.

This might be done by design since the FO wants to rapidly improve and really has zero assets to do so while being in a cap crunch.

Tank the pick in a sense to really make it more palatable for fans to see the pick get traded.

There is just zero help with the schedule and I could see this team going .800 the rest of the way.
