As was Vitaly Kravtsovwe probably wont land bedard
but rememeber even trevor zegras was picked 9th overall![]()
We are talking about a 6 week tank to finish this season and secure a high pick and draft the best player to add to the core.
They’ve played in vancouver over the last few years and both have re-signed. I doubt they hate losing that much lmao
Lol yeah lets call someone a bust after one season that was injury plagued. He was also, the youngest player in the draft and still 18. That sound logical.I'm at the point where I'd rather trade the draft pick. For me, it's top 5 or bust. I don't have faith in this management team picking the best player outside of that. I'm certain they'll draft another Lekkeramaki or Juolevi. There are going to be some good teams that will be bounced in the first round and want to retool or sell off players for draft picks. TB could be one of them. If Cernak is available and we can clear cap space that's a guy I want to pair with Hughes.
Canucks are too dominant to be bottom 6There’s still a chance to finish bottom 6 but man, it’s gonna be hard to out tank some of these teams.
Yep! Top 7 would've been ideal but it is what it is - Reinbacher is the pick.Canucks have always been slated for 7-9th pick. 5th was only a possibility of things broke incredibly right/wrong. Been saying it for months. Canucks strength of roster, their weak schedule, how they were unlikely to significantly worsen the roster at the deadline, and how most other teams near them were wholly committed to becoming worse all made it very obvious what was going to happen

The scary part is if they win enough to get 10th, 11th or 12thCanucks have always been slated for 7-9th pick. 5th was only a possibility of things broke incredibly right/wrong. Any team picking 12th overall is getting a solid pickup. The scary part is if they win enough to get 10th, 11th or 12th
I dono man, the drop is heavy at 7-8Any team picking 12th overall is getting a solid pickup.
I agree with you, but top 20 this year is sweet in general. Fortunate to be picking closer to 10th overall versus 20th overall.I dono man, the drop is heavy at 7-8
You're assuming they'll keep the pick.we probably wont land bedard

You see, all they need is to tell Tocchet to play demko every other game like phx is platooning with Vejmelka. I really don't see the point in giving your failed season every chance to gain points with nothing on the line? Demko has nothing to prove, all the other players of the team can still learn what they need to learn without hurting their draft position. It's as if they lack the fundamental understanding in franchise building.Canucks have always been slated for 7-9th pick. 5th was only a possibility of things broke incredibly right/wrong. we win post TDL when we didn’t sell in the past
We are still winning post TDL even after we sold
Tanking is not happening
