I dont see any team taking on Tavares contract lol. They will have worse cap problems than the Bolts with Matthews, Marner,and Tavares deals.

That was textbook interference, there's no debating it. It's a pick.

That's not the issue. The issue is when you don't call interference all game for any team, and then decide to call it on a critical moment.

Came here to post this lol. It's now Tampa is winning the cup and they are back to pack to back champs so no one has a chance. Tampa is not the same team they lost their entire 3rd line and Point was injured during the game. Toronto just doesn't have it they just try to score as many goals as possible. Its called Defense and the leafs need some.

I think these are the two best teams in the East. I like Toronto jokes as much as the next guy, but they have nothing to be ashamed of here. TB barely pulled this off. By far, FAR, our toughest series of the cup runs.

I have seen tampa play in playoffs. If Kucherov, Point (now injured unfortunately), Hedman, Palat, Vasi played like they normally do in the playoffs it wouldn't look this close.

I have also seen the leafs play in the playoffs. the massive overpayments by the leafs GM always show up like this in the deciding games. ALWAYS!

Thought the Leafs played pretty well this series, but that game 7 performance just didn't measure up. Zero net drive, poor details, and bobbled pucks in crucial moments. Can't really put it on Campbell either, Vasilevskiy was his elimination game monster self and Campbell was pretty good too.

You fans probably don't want to hear it now but the Leafs gave us a really tough series, right up there with the Isles last year. I really think you would've beaten anyone else if not for the stupid format. So don't let the haters get to you too bad. I went into the series knowing it wouldn't be easy but it really was on a whole other level. I was starting to doubt and figuring experience in winning is just a convenient platitude but I think Game 7 really proved it true. We just simplified our game and avoided the big mistakes and counted on Vasi to bring it home.
