Unstoppable! Two more points for tage last night...I believe that brings him to about 300 points?
That is my point.
People are expecting production to remain where it is or improve next season when the odds say that a regression in production is just as likely as an increase.
Next year he'll surpass ROR's career highJust surpassed Eichel’s career high
I’d offer him 8 years for 6AAV right now.I'm actually glad he has 1 more year remaining on his contract. I don't expect him to replicate what he did this year, but if he can score 25-30 goals and get 55-60 points again next year then I'll feel much more comfortable giving him a long term deal.
You don't think he'll be a PPG player next year? He's getting better as the season goes on. Another offseason to grow into his body more. He talked about how hard it used to be to grow into his body and put on muscle. Now that he's doing that, it's game over. Another year in the league and especially more experience in the center sport, I could see him replicating this year, if not surpassing it.I'm actually glad he has 1 more year remaining on his contract. What the actual F? Where did the puck even go? This dude has a cannon.
I'd say they are both comparable ceilings, both seriously high. I'd give Jack the edge on chance of meeting it.Who has a higher ceiling, Tage or Eichel?

If I had any editing skills I'd add a bloodsplash from the goalies headI've watched this 72 times. I still don't know where the friggin puck went.

I asked this in the GDT and nobody responded.
Ray stated it was under the cross bar, short side. IIRC
Biron tweeted it was 96 mph.

I believe Tage’s shot warped space and time there, travelled through a wormhole from his stick to the back of the net right under the crossbar. This is the only explanation. You can see the puck hit the crossbar right behind the goalie. If it travelled through the normal space/time continuum, the goalie wouldnt have a head.
I dont expect anyone coming off their first ppg season to repeat when they have been amazingly disappointing their entire career proceeding that seasonYou don't think he'll be a PPG player next year? Young players with previously mismanaged talent regularly get better from year to year.I dont expect anyone coming off their first ppg season to repeat when they have been amazingly disappointing their entire career proceeding that season
and young hockey players also tend to have peaks, hes got 4 months of great hockey and is still under contract so unless he wants to sign for cheap term im fine waiting a seasonYoung players with previously mismanaged talent regularly get better from year to year.
