2x his career Shooting% isn't sustainable?
I am more worried about what this team looks like when some of the unsustainable Corsi & Fenwick numbers normalize.
The bolded is simultaneously missing the point and a terrible use of shooting% for an arguement.
1) Who is talking about goals? Posters are pleasantly surprised that Tage has played well overall at center for three straight games. They’re having fun, joking about it and enjoying the moment. How dare they! Your shooting% comment is pretty much missing the point.
2) Your poor shooting% argument. Tage has (1) PP goal and (1) 5v5 goal. The sample size is ridiculously small so his shooting% in both circumstances doesn’t tell us anything. But 5v5 and PP sh% should never be lumped together to tell the story. They are completely different animals.
We are in uncharted territory with Tage. He is likely to be our top center (minutes played) until Mitts gets back and will be getting a ton of PP minutes. Two things he’s never done before How that plays out is anyone’s guess.
