Why do these commentators refer to the Czech Republic as "Czech" :laugh:
i noticed that too, i wonder if they're like, misunderstanding the grammar that you could refer to them as the "czech team" or something but they try and shorthand it in some weird way

like, "czechs" is a word right?

Not sure if anyone noticed, but Coach Petrovicky used all three 16 year-olds on that PP, and it was a good one.

"Czechs" would be correct, just like "Americans" or "Canadians". "Czech" is like they would call the Swedish team just "Swedish" or "Swede".

slovakia has offensive talent how the hell did they lose 6-0 vs the czech the gap shouldn't be that big its the Big 5 these days its no longer a big 6 in my opinion

Isn't it the same as calling Switzerland Swiss that announcers also just did before commercial brake?
