Pretty confused as to why Ragnarsson made it, he’s been underwhelming this year right? I haven’t seen him play recently so if anyone wants to chime in about him that’d be helpful

I had a feeling he would leave out Lyksell based on his TV interview on Saturday. I think it's a mistake.
I also think all of Sweden, except Montén, agrees Sylfegård should be on the team.

I'd say Albin Eriksson, Sylvegård and Lycksell (in whatever order) are the most surprising omissions.

I expect him centering a third or fourth line. Montén said on todays press conference that he can be used on a wing too.

Personally I'm real impressed with Hugg this season. I'm Swedish but watch OHL games quite regularly so I've seen him several times this year and he has honestly surprised me after his relatively poor season last year. He has a lot of international experience and is a real solid all-round player. He can be an important player for Sweden this year as he is really good in the defensive zone, I'm guessing he's gonna have a lot of PK-minutes.

I think he will have a place in the top 9 and depending on how Montén chooses his lines maybe even top 6 as the center behind Lundeström, though nothing is written in stone obviously.

Sarnia fan here. Leufvenius had a really good year for us last year. His play transitioned well and he was arguably one of if not our best player in the playoffs last year. He has been red hot for us so far this year and leads our team in points. He had a 10 game goal streak recently and was 3/3 for face offs last Friday (Nov 30)

Which includes them saying if Boqvist is going to play, then he will play PP, and Montén saying Ginning plays more minutes than he does.

I agree that Sylvegård is a poor character, happy that he wasn't selected. Also, hasn't he been injured a lot lately?
