Strome is a great prospect but he is sharply lacking in IQ right now in the sense that he seems to think he can do whatever he wants as if he's playing an OHL game right now.

As I said two years ago, last year and this year. He will be dangerous on the PP but never effective enough 5 on 5 to be worth that pick. Grigorenko is suffering from the same fate.

Not surprised. We always find a way to sabotage our selves. But Canada has played really well. Despite the little burst of energy late in the third I feel we are going to lose this one unless we find a way to stress the slow Canadian defensemen.

Not at all. The U.S. out shot them easily and was the better team as a whole. There were moments when Russia looked better, but just moments. The majority of the time USA looked better, especially in OT when Russia could only get perimeter shots.

Yeah I'm starting to feel the same about Raddysh too. Ducharme has him on the bench the entire game until Canada makes a zone entry. I knew his skating wasn't that great but wow it's REALLY sinking in now
