just feels like there's something else in the works. Makes no sense to waive him if you could've sent Carr back down. This looks to me like they're planning to keep Sergachev for longer than 9 games. I dunno, I dont get it.

He might pass through, maybe not, we already have many prospects like him in our system.

Hope not. Sergy isn't ready. That is obvious. He needs more time. They should send him back down for the season and not risk injury to the kid.
I'd rather have Carr than Ghetto. Fills a more physical role.

I hope not as well. Looks like he'll be in the pressbox tomorrow vs Ott.

Id rather have Carr, Lehkonen and McCarron instead of Andrighetto. Just seems like a waste to let him go for nothing even if his value is low.

I'd think that he could have got at least a pick for him if he tried, but with the expansion draft coming everything has been thrown into a cluster$&?@. if that wasn't coming up, a lot of waivers would have been trades.
Poor kid is just a casualty of bad timing.

As for Lehkonen, he's looking good. I'm going to wait a few games before I make my mind up, but I like what I see with him.
I'd really like to see what a line of Lehkonen-Galchenyuk-Gallagher could do.

I feel like almost every team has several "Andrighetto" type players on their team/in their system. Not worth a claim.

No room on the Leafs. But, if they're at all involved with the RFA situation in Anaheim and Winnipeg and could be moving a forward or two in the process, I'd try to stash him until a spot opens up. Can always throw him back on the wire if it falls apart.

I can see them claiming him and moving someone like Cogliano to free up some capsace (even tho i think he's a solid player, a lot team's would love to have him).

Cogliano is the heart and soul of the Ducks. No way.

Good player for sure but Lindholm is a cornerstone player ;), 2 contracts will most likely have to be moved in order to make room for him.

Chicago was also forced to move a lot of quality players due to lack of capspace.

All about the timing, I think. Had he been waived right before the season when guys like Griffith, Frk, Pulk, Etem, etc were being claimed, he's probably claimed during that time frame.

Now teams are set with their roster + most teams are too close to the cap to put in a claim even though he's dirt cheap.

Good depth for the AHL team.
