Exactly. He's still a fringe player, but there is no way every team in the league has 12 forwards better than him. It's just not reality.

He could still have a future in the NHL. He has already shown flashes of being good. Would not surprise me if he became a 30-40 point guy.

No surprise. Most player are waived because they are not good enough to be a regular in the NHL, this one was no exception.

In Montreal, they already have too many small, short players. If he cannot shine on the first two lines, Sven is useless.
