Fair play rule is pretty dumb and shouldn't exist. Teams like PSG and City are good to not rich clubs as they create bid wars with other giants for players making them more expensive which helps the clubs that really produce the talent that makes the sport great. I don't think any of the big European clubs are 100% clean, either. If some rich sheik wants to 'waste' his money in football we should let him do it, imo.

Clubs in South America and Africa get ripped off. As with Echeverri and Alvarez a club like River Plate should be wallowing in.monry but they are not. Instead clubs in Pottugal earn huge mark ups.

Domestically the parasite six steal academy kids from.other clubs for a pittance as they've bent the rules to suit themselves and consolidate their grip on the game. My club has lost 8 academy kids in 3 years for a pittance.

So they have 115 violations? The average deduction per is...three points, maybe? So 345 points? I'd stagger that out over four seasons (100 for the first three and 45 for the other), guaranteeing they'll go down even if they win all their domestic games. They'll crash into League Two and have to fight back up. So, really, the penalty will last for years and they'll have to play entire seasons knowing they'll be demoted, the team will become so toxic.

I also laughed at their claim that it’s fine if related parties pay inflated sponsorships because even if the owners of City change the companies will be happy to keep paying the inflated sponsorships and it wouldn’t put the team at financial risk.
It's such a bonkers line of logic all the way around, that I would seriously question the lawyers that filed this lawsuit. What are the SLAPP laws like in the UK?

Multinational banks have ties to terrorist funding. More news at 11
It's a bad look for LFC but at the sametime they are not the FBI/CIA they cannot investigate all their sponsorship for wrongdoing like that. They should do their due diligence and consider changing their kit sponsor if the allegation are validated though.
