I still have to understand well and it's still early to have a precise opinion, but the strong feeling is that the Super League is much worse than UEFA/FIFA

UEFA can't force a non-EU country to change it's laws to be like in EU countries.

But UEFA can change their own rules to align with EU rules, and would be likely to do so now too, if they have to. So EU countries and clubs could continue to participate in the UEFA tournaments. They have always done so, starting with applying Bosman court decision.

The byes give big teams more to play for and the extra spots will make it easier for the minnows to at least make the round of 24.

If we took the results of the group stage and applied it to the new single table, you would have:

1. City - 18 (11)
2. Real Madrid - 18 (9)
3. Bayern - 16
4. Atleti - 14
5. Arsenal - 13
6. Porto - 12 (7)
7. Barca - 12 (6)
8. Real Sociedad - 12 (5)
_______________________
9. Leipzig - 12 (3)
10. Inter - 12 (3)
11. Dortmund - 11
12. Napoli - 10
13 Lazio - 10
14. PSV - 9
15. Shakhtar - 9
16. PSG - 8
17. Milan - 8
18. Copenhagen - 8
19. Lens - 8
20. Feyenoord - 6
21. Galatasaray - 5
22. Newcastle - 5
23. Man Utd - 4 (-3)
24. Benfica - 4 (-4 / 7)
_______________________
25. Salzburg - 4 (-4 / 4)
26. Braga - 4 (-6)
27. Young Boys - 4 (-6)
28. Celtic - 4 (-10)
29. Antwerp - 3
30. Sevilla - 2
31. Union Berlin - 2
32. Crvena - 1

Obviously hypothetical as the matchups will be different and there will be 4 more teams, but it shouldn't take that much to get into the top 24 (5.3 points, converting 6 games to 8).

Final day would be way more exciting when you have bunches of teams needing to improve their goal difference to both reach the knockouts AND at the top for the byes.

I understand your 2nd point about less champions of small nations, but they still will have a chance to qualify.

See above, they would move on fairly easily.
Except the strength of the teams wouldn't be the same. As such PSG, Milan and Newcastle would be much higher.

Moving much too slow.

The last time this came up the Chelsea Pitch Owners (who own both Stamford Bridge and the name "Chelsea FC") made it clear that if the club joined the Super League they would not be allowed to use the name Chelsea FC and they could not play their matches at Stamford Bridge.

Nah, it's in a room full of people who want to make more money and grow their brand. Perfectly logical to want a Super League and not be stuck on Monday Night Football playing away at Luton Town if you're a club like Man United. It's just a matter of fact that Chelsea playing against Atletico Madrid will bring more views, more views equal better sponsorship deals and huge telly contracts and why the idea of this league is legit for the business side.

For plastic supporters and glory chasers it might. For real fans they're equally important.

I'm not talking about fans, most fans despise this idea. All I am talking about is the people in the suits who think of growing brands and making money. The idea of a Super League is as good as it could be and football is so ingrained in society that people would never stop watching. Arsenal has like a 30-40 year long waiting list for season tickets. They will always make money regardless of whether the fans revolt against it. If Arsenal plays Bayern at the Emirates in the Super League and season ticket fans don't show, Arsenal is still going to get their money unless the fans drop the season tickets, but the demand is too high and the next person who waited almost half of their life for season tickets will want to go to the games. I suspect this is similar among the big clubs across Europe as well.

I think Barca and Real Madrid certainly have money in mind, since they are supposedly guaranteed annual income of 1 billion per year for the three first seasons.

Money which is now also UEFA FFP approved since the court ruling and UEFA promising not to punish in any way any clubs, who join the new league. And any other clubs joining the top group of the superleague supposedly will be quaranteed 400 million. That kind of money should mean a lot for most clubs, who can use that money in the UEFA competitons too.

So basically Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus would run that 'Super League', NGL it looks very BAD on a sporting standpoint. I hope they do it and a new revamped Champion League put their reputation to the ground.

Has there been any reporting on who’s bankrolling this? All they’ve said is it’ll be free to watch and generate revenue through advertising, sponsorships, etc. Where are they getting 1B no strings attached from?

That train has long gone. As a Romanian you unfortunately know all about it.
There was a time a team like Steaua was relevant in Europe.
