At the moment, LFC also probably selling Minamino for 15-20m and trying to bring in Scottish young player of the year Calvin Ramsay in for backup RB for 4m. They will net at least 10m from a Neco Williams sale. Phillips and Chamberlain available as well. Next season may look like:

Diaz - Darwin - Salah
Thiago - Fabinho - Keita
Andy - Virgil - Konate - Trent
Alisson

Diogo - Firmino - Carvalho
Jones/Milner - Henderson - Elliott
Tsimikas - Matip - Gomez - Ramsay
Kelleher

those are two very solid groups. Would still like another midfielder to close games out (Sangare? Kone?) but there were hints last season that they are grooming Jones for that role. if they add another midfielder might be worth loaning Jones and/or Elliott out for a season; but also happy for them to stay
Yeah the thing here is they can get a ton of the fee back from sales. They’re going to get about 65-70m Euros for Mane and Taki. The way I see it we have to sign this guy. If we want to keep winning trophies we don’t have a choice.

Lamptey has another year here. He wants a run of healthy playtime to build back up. If he goes I would be surprised. I think we lose Bissouma and Cucurella this off-season for sure.
I dunno I could see United getting desperate after they miss out on all other targets and sell no one and dropping 50-60 on him.
The player need a step down. Not a step up...
I think he’s been fine when he plays. He needs a consistently competent coach and consistent playing time.

Okay lol. If you come in with that number Bloom will accept. 3.5 million to buy Lamptey, that would be some major profit to reinvest!

No, I’m not talking to you, but I appreciate your post. And I hear you about Pedri. Kid is the shits.

Well I was very specific about “big club”. I think a move to a smaller side would do him well. Still I’m not sure he’s good enough to break into a big club, but the definition of big club is open for debate.
Then my mistake. Your post was right under mine, as far as I can see, and I was one of the only people who was part of those discussions on this topic years back. Carry on now.

Window hasn't even opened yet so it's fine. Onto the next target. Supposedly Pau Torres, but he might want to stay too.

Interesting. Apparently Spurs had a bid for Rashford rejected.
I could see that. His contract is up next year and Spurs could use a striker/left wing hybrid to back up both Kane and Son. Need homegrown players too. Don't think it happens though.

Would've been a crazy thing to read a year ago.

Can’t imagine he’d go to anywhere in England for a reasonable price. Definitely get the interest though.
