This is for you.

very fun video for the other fans too if you have three minutes.

I have been around during the dark era. It's not an excuse to not be able to criticize some current football decisions. I have seen it all too.

I know exactly the feeling and that is why I feel lucky to have currently one of the most exciting team in the history of the game.

That being said, even with all these great qualities the team have underperformed in term of silverware because they are competing against the best team ever in the premier league era. They have fallen short by mere points to win the league and people are mad or find it funny that I would like a top midfielder now to compete now instead of waiting and pray for Bellingham next summer (which if I wanted to be even more cynical, I would even add that I doubt that we get him when other richer clubs start sniffing around next summer as LFC never pay above the odd in term of wage package). I never in my life criticized the current player commitment and their desire or ambition. I do have some criticism on the younger players in the team and their quality and academy players who more often than not get overly praised for making simple plays but in general I am very open to give academy players their chance. I will always back Klopp and his decision and support the team.

So, in general, I am sorry to everybody around here that I have offended because of my dissapointement of the recruitement team of LFC and that I questionned their ambition on winning now and for not getting proper depth at an area that the team have struggled sometime the past year and that we have many injury prone players at that specific position. (Ox, Keita, Hendo, Thiago)

I am not even asking for record breaking fees either. Getting Carvalho/Ramsey was smart and very good. I would have loved for instance Carney Chukwuemeka

As for the financial bullshit that LFC have no money, I work in finance for a living and I constantly analyzed their financial statement in my free time for the past few years. They are about to finish this year paying off the installment for the key players of the squad (VVD, Ox, Salah, Alisson, Fabinho, Keita, etc.) all of them are about to be off the book (cash flow/payments and amortization). They have the money available for sure, even after Darwin record purchase. They voluntary refuse to invest at this moment. We will see if they will before the deadline but my expectations of them getting another player are very low.

Lewa and Kounde are pretty fun.
Oh, very good signings, no doubt, but I am not jealous. Lewa is great, but we have Benzema. Kounde, I would have prefered to Rudiger, I guess. Still no jealousy. Actually, I hope Barca will be better than last year and that we will have real race for La Liga. Following my team is more fun when our biggest rivals are relevent.

Lewa Benz partnership would be illegal.

It's 70M€. It's f***ing insanity
That is entirely fair for how good he is. The number of top quality wingbacks is incredibly small, and when you play a system that relies on the wingbacks providing your attacking width and tracking back to defend, they are critical.

They will get it done before the window closes and they won't necessarily have to sell De Jong. Better to stick to non-English journalists re: Barça as this Summer has already shown.
Yeah. The de Jong thing (and Man Utd logo) is definitely pandering to a certain demographic.

But my question - as of today, right now, are those players registered? It’s relevant until the players are registered. Especially when Barca are STILL trying to add

They have 8 days before the season starts. So until next Saturday, it does not really matter.

It matters that the players aren’t registered, until they are registered.
Semantics. My point was that it is not a story... yet.

If they cannot play match day 1 or, worse, if they fail to register some before the window closes, then, yes, it is a laughable thing. If they end up taking care of their business, it is just a temporary blip on the radar... like being over the cap during the NHL offseason. Fun to discuss, but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

It's relevant, but it's not news. Anyway, the trolling doesn't seem to be working out so well for you lately.

Who is trolling? Just saying it’s fair to talk about Barca being unable to register players until they are about to register said players.
I’m not talking about how said players were acquired. That’s neither relevant nor news, but there’s a difference.

I’m fine, thank you.

Especially when they were bidding against themselves. I mean it could work out because Cucurella is good, but they just made him (potentially) the most expensive fullback ever, and he isn’t an upgrade on what they had (unless Chilwell’s knee is trashed). But it’s Chelsea and money doesn’t matter to them.

So one year of work, at a position they’ve already spent a lot on? Chilwell must be ready to go to the glue factory.
He plays multiple positions and we can't afford a repeat of last season where we were playing wingers, forwards, and midfielders at wingback.

Multiple positions? I don’t think you can claim multiple positions for Cucurella if you are pointing LCB. He is smaller than Kounde, who apparently was too small to play CB for Tuchel. It’s either hypocritical and/or lame justification for the transfer fee. Cmon. It’s one or the other.

again not saying he is a bad player, but Don’t think it’s fair to have him down as a CB cover solution
