I’m sorry, but how is Sterling a fit with the coach? He’s never played for Tuchel and he’s never played regularly in that kind of system. Tuchel wanted Lukaku last year too. I’m not buying that. With Ake they are buying a homegrown slot. But they would be better off just giving those minutes to Colwill. Especially if Ake isn’t starting.
I'm with you on the Colwill thing in theory, but I don't think it's that simple. Players either want guaranteed minutes in the 18 or want starting minutes - hence the consistent demand of play me lots or sell me. I think that gets overlooked in the "haha chelsea" thing. The bigger problem has been the shitty replacements like Saul, Higuain, Zappacosta types over the years.

They face the same exact issue with Colwill, Broja this year. Maybe in hindsight, you are more stern and don't set the precedent where players can demand out earlier but I think there's some lack of context when people bring this up. It would be great if Colwill, Guehi, Livramento, Fik, Ake before he went to Bournemouth, Lamptey, etc. wanted to stay and fight for longer but they all want demands.

Tuchel wants high pressing dribblers with higher conversion rates y.o.y. than what he has. No one on the team rn can score at all. CHO is okay as a dribbler with decent passing, but there's no output in terms of goals from him. Lukaku was just awful, I don't even know the relevance of bringing it up other than the point of saying that coaches shouldn't have full authority on transfer calls because it leads to problems, and that a DOF should have final call above the coach.

After missing out on Fulgini, Gladbach are being linked to Denis Bouanga.

While the rumors linking Embolo to Monaco are growing ever firmer...unfortunately...
Gourna-Douath is leaving St Etienne for Salzburg for their most expensive purchase ever : 15M€.

Figured he'd end up in the Red Bull system, both Salzburg & Leipzig were hot for him.
Ozil has terminated his contract and become a free agent. Thinking it is time for him to do a two-year MLS stint before calling it quits.

He's expected to stay in Turkey in german reports.

Sommer to Nice, done.

That hasn't filtered through to the german press yet. Though the connection has been made since Favre opted for returning to Nice over Gladbach.

In other Gladbach news: after missing out on Fulgini, they are reportedly shifting their focus to Denis Bouanga.

While the rumors linking Embolo to Monaco are growing ever louder...unfortunately...

What a glorious field to be in, almost impossible to tell reality from bullshit.

Replying to @TheIronDuke

Asked Thomas Tuchel his thoughts on the impending Mookie deal.

Tuchel: "Where I grew up, we were taught that what a man or woman does in his bedroom is their business. Next question?"

The biggest plot twist of this summer has to be jussi becoming a Barcelona fan.
I mean what's not to like? They ask players to lower their wages, then agree to pay the owed money during later season, ask them to lower there wages more and when they refuse, ship the player off, making there new team pay it. Also, tapping up players from other teams, agree to pay high transfer money for them, all the while they're doing the previously mentioned thing. Brilliant shithousery!

This is now the what, 4th time the deal has been agreed to, each at a different value?
This is the first time both parties claim it's agreed upon.

In what world is Gnabry the freaking backup option to Raphinha? He's twice the player!

In that case Gnabry cares more about Arsenal than they ever did about him ...

They'll play Paqueta as a striker probably.
Imagine being one of the top wingers in Europe the last several years and still just being referred to as "ex-Arsenal" player.

Could be worse we could be spending 80 billion on maguire and make him our captain.

You know, this Ty impression isn't really working out for you, AB13 has it locked down more.

Everyone thinks you're being ridiculous, and I don't watch ArsenalFanTV because I have better things to do with my time. So I have no idea what you're talking about there.

Did both parties claim that? One reporter claimed it, same as the last 5 times

I’m sure he came here for the golf. Some great courses here and a lot of variety. Kinds of people you have to play with are mostly scum though. You can avoid them in pretty much every other manner of living here except that one.
LACC hosts the US Open next year and Riviera is also great. I’m sure he’ll love the golf. As good or better than Madrid.

Javairo Dilrosun to Feyenoord
I thought he’d be really good in the Bundesliga and move to one of the league’s big teams, but Hertha usually does mess up good players.
