Ah Narragansett...the beer that has become a hipster icon in recent years. I remember I worked with a person who liked that stuff. I am willing to go bottom barrel for some beers, but Narragansett like Busch and Natty Light are not beers I would drink unless I was desperate. That stuff is crap to me and I say this as someone who tolerates Molson XXX. Hell I will even go out of my own way to buy Colt 45 if I see it because I actually enjoy it.

Yeah but Gansett Light is a good cheap beer that does the trick on hot days

Was supposed to be off work at 4am. They even announced it on the loud speaker so asked one the other dudes on our crew “did they say leave” he said he didnt hear it. We didnt want to leave without finishing the job. 4:50 comes around and we are like we is our lead? Turns out the dude we were helping left. He figured we are getting paid more than him and he left. Which is incorrect us helping him got him more money.

Some wisdom that I've gained at 54. Leaving on time is just as important as an employee as showing up on time. You will never get the appreciation you think will come.

My phone is getting spammed by stupid political candidate texts throughout the day and it's making me want to pitch the phone into a volcano :damnpc::damnpc::damnpc:
Unfortunately on my phone at least you can't block texts....BUT you can forward spam msgs (all kinds) to a number that reports them.....not joking, just forward them to SPAM (not sure if this is only a verizon thing)

The "dude you were helping" is a f*cking rodent.

If I were you, I would have a talk with the next time I saw him and privacy permitted. I also don't think I'd help him anymore.

Yeah the other 3 guys on my team were very pissed off. They are gonna say something and told one of the managers. Dont think I need to say anything really. When u have dudes from NY, Jamaica and Zimbabwe mad at u doubt u need me to say anything.

And by helping him make his money what I mean is right now myself and my team are on a training salary. So we dont get a % of each truck we do. Other dude did.

Im always early too. Dont think imma do that anymore worked 8 without a lunch and one break. Not in my company I still need to get used to rules and state rules.

West coast its 2 hours every break and a lunch before 5 hours. In Florida idk and im told to just tell them when I go on break or lunch.

Take care of yourself.

I'm very fortunate to never have caught it.

My daughter's girlfriend just moved here from Salem MA to live with her - we are in Ontario. I am quite vocal and animated during hockey games and her girlfriend has never really watched hockey. They were over on the weekend and my daughter warned her about me, how I talk to any Bruins fan I see when we were out, getting into it with Leafs and Habs fans, etc. I mean, it is all in fun, not like I am obnoxious or anything. :sarcasm:

Her GF wanted to experience a game so we put on the last period of game 7 in 2013 against the Leafs. I have watched it many times but I'm not kidding, my heart rate gets up and I get so excited watching it. I complain about the uncalled penalties. I have two goal horns and when I hit them the first time, her GF just about jumped out of her skin because she hadn't noticed them on the shelves - flashing red and blaring in all their glory! It was well worth the experience.

She hasn't decided if she ever wants to watch a live game with me - I told her it is a dangerous game because if we win, she has to come and watch on demand....but if we lose, well, she won't really be that welcome.

I did send her a Bruins home jersey when she was still living in MA, just to get her ready.
