Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Great post!My daughter's girlfriend just moved here from Salem MA to live with her - we are in Ontario. I am quite vocal and animated during hockey games and her girlfriend has never really watched hockey. They were over on the weekend and my daughter warned her about me, how I talk to any Bruins fan I see when we were out, getting into it with Leafs and Habs fans, etc. I mean, it is all in fun, not like I am obnoxious or anything.
Her GF wanted to experience a game so we put on the last period of game 7 in 2013 against the Leafs. I have watched it many times but I'm not kidding, my heart rate gets up and I get so excited watching it. I complain about the uncalled penalties. I have two goal horns and when I hit them the first time, her GF just about jumped out of her skin because she hadn't noticed them on the shelves - flashing red and blaring in all their glory! It was well worth the experience.
She hasn't decided if she ever wants to watch a live game with me - I told her it is a dangerous game because if we win, she has to come and watch on demand....but if we lose, well, she won't really be that welcome.
I did send her a Bruins home jersey when she was still living in MA, just to get her ready.
My husband has been a long time ref for youth hockey (hes semi retired now from that). Watching a game with him is like watching someone on a roller coaster and its a loud rollercoaster. lol. It's usually "are you f--ing kidding me!!Thats a terrible call!" or "Yeah!!!!!! woooooo!"
Gotta love passion. When my BIL introduced me to his friend one day (first time meeting the friend) he was wearing a Leafs jersey. I shook his hand and said....are you part of the parade planning team? He apparently didnt think it was funny. He just mumbled something under his breath.

Hot dogs are God awful. An abomination in line with all seafood.
Sucks man, I’m sorry for your loss. I lost both my 16.5 yo rat terriers last year and it still hurts. My daughter still lives here and got a pup mid last year and she’s basically the only thing that keeps me sane

No seafood? I can't contemplate such an existence!
Fish, scallops, squid, mussels and clams, shellfish, all amazing. Only thing I'm not keen on are prawns. Probably helps that I live on the coast so we are spoilt for choice in terms of fresh local seafood and it is not as crazy expensive as in some places.

Parents put in an app for Jason but dont know if they will get him. Hurricane messed alot of stuff up. They were talking about looking at dogs and even traveling to Miami to see them.
Think its effecting my mother the most. She said she feels a big hole in her heart and keeps expecting Mackie(Macaroni, Mac, Mr. Dog) to walk around the corner.
I’ve lost alot of human friends to death the last few years but Mac is different and it hurts alot. I keep on replaying his last moments in my mind. They said we could leave when we were done but I wouldnt until they took him to the back. Didnt want him alone. Miss him

Crushed a dog as a snack after lunch. It was glorious.
Don't shit on Coors Light. Unlike other light beers, Coors Light actually tastes like beer and I can actually eat food while I have it. I also buy it because its cheap. If I didn't care about my wallet, I would by German lagers and pilsners like Warsteiner or Japanese super drys like Asahi. If I didn't care about being bloated, I would drink heavy Belgian beers or Guinness.
All this talk of seafood....yummy! I wish I lived closer to the ocean. I was born in England and going to the docks when the fishing boats came in was such a treat. I remember having live crabs sloshing around in buckets in the "boot".... it was an adventure. I love it all, lobster is my least favourite but the butter is worth having it.
