Very disappointed in the Musty situation. Our team would be so much better with him in the lineup.

I get that he's had many of his close knit teammates that have either moved on (Goyette, Anania and McCallum) or traded (Mania, Konyen and Collins). I know that it's difficult, but that's the nature of sports. He has to suck it up and be proud to be playing for this city.

I am sure his agent has heard the suck it up words from Grier. The sharks want him to develop and it isn't going to happen with him sitting at home. To Wolves management it is just as if he stayed in SJ and they probably already had that planned out so his sitting at home is not going to be that much of an issue for them

The loser could be him, especially if the USA Hockey does not return any of his agent's calls.
I still like the idea of sending him to the Petes. You might not get as much for him, but as long as Sudbury made the trade with the provision that the Petes could not trade, it would be interesting.

Then I would let him sit until he accepts a trade to a team that will give the Wolves the best return. I commend Sudbury management for standing their ground on this players should not be allowed to dictate where they play.

There's been a lot of rumour talk on this board. Nothing that is actual fact. Nothing here is groundbreaking. This is just what is actual fact and not rumour. Nothing wrong with doing that. You don't really need to be facetious.

This Musty drama is fascinating.. like a soap opera playing itself out. Such an elite OHL talent whichever team lands him, if Musty can grow up a little and stop being a baby, the kid is a big time game breaker. Musty on London or Erie would be dreamy for either team the amount of offensive ability Musty brings. His vision and playmaking set him apart in the O

Your flip side could be right but that is whay Grier has tld them to suck it up and either get the kid on the ice or else. The challenge that Musty and his agent have is to show that he is a team player to SJ. That is not happening right now and Musty could find himself with at fatal star syndrome and an AHL ECHL career just because of it. Grier is trying to buid a winning team in SJ he does not want or need primadonnas

Barrie only has 2x2nds and 2x3rds. Unless you’re waiting for Vaughn, that may not be enough.

I suppose it would depend on the players involved.

Rehkopf and Barlow trades are considered by many to be an overpay.
Williamson already passed on the price of Barlow, so don’t look to Barrie as team that will pay that price.

The longer this stretches out, the possibility more high end players enter the market bringing prices down.
Will Brantford actually go all in on a rental or two or will they look to next year? If it’s next year, will Lardis hit the market? As teams decide “who they are”, there could be a saturation.

This may have been the logic behind the Rangers moving Rehkopf when they did.
