True. But, being that he’s an Ottawa draft pick, they can arrange for him to play his OA season.
Not sure if this has been said here but London has the rights to Gleb Semyonov, a 17 year old import that is dealing with visa delays at the moment. When London drafted him they said he was a little unknown to some teams but has potential to be selected in the upcoming nhl draft. If Sudbury is looking for a young import and Musty has London on his list, this could be holding up the deal.
Halttunen could very well come back as per SJ GM Grier said on Tuesday. “He wants to make a decision soon so it’s fair for London”
And that's where Grier and Mustys agent can push a potential deal along, if the wolves want that import and can get him signed and Musty wants to go there Grier can push it across the line by sending him back hypothetically of course
I don't see them on North Bay's jerseys in this same game, at least if they're there, they don't stand out like these massive zulich home patches.
I am not sure there is a fit for a contending team to acquire Quentin Musty. I don’t think Erie is willing to trade the players Sudbury likely wants and they only have two, 2nds and two, 3rds. Brantford priorities are likely adding a centre to play in their top six forwards and a defenceman. London does not usually make trades for big names. Oshawa, Barrie and Saginaw do not likely have the assets to make the trade. That leaves Kingston, Brampton, Niagara and Windsor with the need for a top six winger and the assets to make a trade for him but are they interested in a player that with his current actions is not acting like a team player. Complicating the situation is that Sudbury consider themselves contenders and likely want to make moves to go on a run so they may be wanting older players in return or a large amount of draft picks to use in other trades for older players.
My goodness! No disrespect but can you and others give this Q.M. saga a rest. It's been overplayed to exhaustion. When it happens it happens. Wolves got a young hard-working team that's having a decent season, with a few good story lines.
They don't quit. Always moving and on pucks. My hope is that o/t they can chip in offensively. Wolves going to need scoring next season.
