Like we discussed, keep us in the loop
The Ranger vets are flying right now and if they continue to play at this pace, prices will be significant.

But it’s early. I don’t think anyone expects Rehkropf for instance, to be at or over a goal a game this year. Once we play a run of games vs the better teams, we’ll have a better idea of their worth.

If it is reviewed to be a slewfoot(which I agree with you, it was), it's 2 games, there's no judgment past it being one or not being one.

Really would like to see more out of DeAngelis given how much the wolves gave up for him. Outside of his first couple games I find he's been very underwhelming.
I thought he actually played very well in Barrie. Any added offence from him is a pure bonus, he needs to take care of his own end and transition the puck quickly up to our forward group.

Maybe I was hoping for too much out of him. He's generally been "fine", but for the price I really expected a shutdown top pairing guy. Less of a problem when Toure and Mania are back in the lineup, D-core ends up a lot more balanced in terms of ice time.

We still need another one too, can’t be relying on Pryce and Protz both playing every night.

What did he do..... must have been after the game ended?

I guess Dvorsky‘s penalty will be reviewed before the two game suspension is official? Anyone know how long DJ is out?

I’ve questioned the pp like many on here, and for good reason. Nice to see it click last game. Having dvorsky draws a lot of attention and opens up room for everyone. Let’s hope we see some consistency moving forward. Also did not realize we have the #1 pk in the league right now. Props to whatever coach runs it and the players on it.

PK is 9th in the OHL Ontario Hockey League

Should be interesting to see if there's a Chromiak deal in the coming days. Wolves have 14 days from the day Dvorsky reported, to trade or release Chromiak. Hopefully Wolves are pushing hard for Donovan from Brantford, with a Chromiak and picks package. Wolves defense core would be set with a top pairing guy like Donovan joining. Would also be our best Dman option for the PP.

Thinking a deal gets done in the next couple of days. I'm sure they'd like to get Chromiak playing this w/e somewhere. Very curious to see what RP does in this deal.

Hope you can get a good deal done. But maybe be prepared for a light return for Chromiak.

Sure there are teams out there with open spots. But if they are contending, they may hold off for a higher end 04 import that may go on the market, and who’s spot can be replaced via the import draft in the summer.

If they are rebuilding, they may not want to spend much on an import when they know they can dip into the summer import draft to fill import spots.

They may ask themselves, “Why send significant picks for Chromiak, then pass in the import draft in the summer?”

Besides knowing the 2 player limit per team for imports, I truly don’t know any other rules when it comes to retention of previous made import picks that have yet to report to their teams. With this in mind, trading for Chromiak IMO is a no brainer. He has minimum 2 years of control remaining. He will be a top 3 round NHL pick next draft. He’s a Right shot D. He is experienced and comes from a good hockey family. He may not bring back his true value, but this is why teams should be lining up for him!

I'm not in the least concerned

Brantford & Kingston should be interested enough in Chromiak for the wolves to get a (fair for import) return.
Chromiak should fit well with Kingston that could contend next season, should at least pretend with about 10- 2005 born already

The Fronts just used their 10th overall pick on a Euro 05 Dman selected in the 3rd round of the NHL draft. They are probably expecting him to coming over just after the WJC, like they often do, so I’d be surprised if the Fronts offered much up, unless they have info that he is not coming.

I’d also add the fact that Fronts just hired a solid coach today should increase those odds he comes over as well.
