Still strange that Kessler was returned to a flint and was posted on the OHL site but nothing on Toure. Until I see the Wolves making it official he isn’t here.

Who is being traded for the players that you are suggesting that the Wolves acquire? Peer could likely be obtained for draft picks. However Rehkopf and a big right winger would likely cost Sudbury a couple of their young players plus draft picks.Christopolous is another guy I'd stay away from. He scored 49 goals on only 230 shots on goal. No way is that sustainable again this year. Wolves should be looking for a higher volume shooter who brings other things to the ice. I saw folks suggesting Stonehouse, and if Ottawa wanted to move on from him he'd be a perfect candidate, but I don't see Ottawa selling on him.
A lot of it comes down to who the contenders are at the deadline.
Rehkopf is the best possible pickup for the wolves I'd argue. Other guys I really like are Peer from Windsor who's a very capable playmaker and would play well with Goyette I feel. Ideally if they can find a big talented Right Winger for the third line. You can roll out something like this.
Musty - Goyette - Peer
Rehkopf - Delic - Konyen
Walton - Villeneuve - Big RW
Yearwood - Pharand - Coughlan
DeAngeledis - Collins
Toure - Chromiak
Anania - Mania
Obviously, it's all dreamland and make-believe right now. I don't expect many more(if any) moves until around the deadline.
That's exactly what I've been saying. Nice kid, works hard, but he's maxed out. Find a place for him to play where he'll get ice time. As you said, if their serious about a run, which I believe they are, he absolutely cannot be in your top 6.Truthfully I don't see Konyen being good enough for our top 6 if we are going for it
Well then I guess the PR department is having a slow week getting news out.Ken MacKenzie is literally quoted in the article from Ben Leeson talking about Toure's return.
Wolves have a boatload of draft picks and Caden Taylor to move off. Acquiring 3 forwards for Taylor + 4 2nds and 6 3rds, won't be hard.Who is being traded for the players that you are suggesting that the Wolves acquire? Peer could likely be obtained for draft picks. Goyette-Delic-Konyen is fine, better defensively with Delic centre imo.
Maybe Lockhart (pretty good at everything) can be the third OA if the wolves really don’t like Konyen there. Then I can get on board with moving Konyen as he needs and compliments Goyette. He would be kind of useless on a line you would want out against others top line or on an energy line.
I’d use the big add to build a 2nd line; Musty-Villeneuve-X
Hayes >Mysak = or >Sale >Pitre = or >Stonehouse …if any will be available
Rather than add 3-5 forwards, I’d prefer 1-2 forwards and a top pairing D. The wolves D is now good, very deep, quite possibly the best 3-4-5 in the league. Though I’m not sure there is a pair that can take control in all situations late in the playoffs.

The Petes will be more than happy to take Caden Taylor off your hands!Wolves have a boatload of draft picks and Caden Taylor to move off. Acquiring 3 forwards for Taylor + 4 2nds and 6 3rds, won't be hard.
The wolves D is probably very similar to the Petes last season. It’s deep and good, nothing really outstanding.White- 20
Spearing- 20
Gauvreau- 19
Mayer- 19
Zanetti- 19
McCoy- 18
Smith-18
Toure-20
Anania- 20
Collins- 19
DeAngelis- 19
Pryce-19
Mania- 18
Chromiak-18
Go! Let’s here it D12…
Wolves core has more offense then last years Petes and are as good or better defensively imo.
The focus needs to be adding fwds to support the top 4-5. Wolves very deep on backend and in pipes.
"Sooner or later, sooner rather than later, Dalibor Dvorský will start thinking about going to Canada. Sudbury Wolves belongs to the #CHL, one of the pair Jakub Vondras - Jakub Chromiak would have to vacate his place in the team. An exchange to some TOP team is also considered."
He is not listed. Bruce and Chitaroni are offIs Toure now in the lineup
With Mania getting closer moves will be made sooner rather than later imo.Very excited to see Toure and Musty back. We are ready to make a push.
Interested to see what we do with our OA situation.
Is Toure now in the lineup

9 games, 0 points in the SHL for Dvorsky. I'd rather we just stick with Chromiak then pickup a kid who wont be happy to be here.Getting Toure and Musty back feels like Christmas ! Imagine how special the team would be adding Mania and possibly Dvorsky ! All of it without losing one single player or pick. Im kinda hoping McCallum plays tonight and Larmand is the odd man out.
That is true.$5 Canadian for good beer.
Whateverr loll if he ever comes it will be because he wants to. And he would be welcome ANYTIME ! Memorial cup baby !!9 games, 0 points in the SHL for Dvorsky. I'd rather we just stick with Chromiak then pickup a kid who wont be happy to be here.
