The wolves wore them down the second half of the game. I thought Musty looked really good. Once he gets another couple games in I think he will be the wolves best player. We need to add more scoring, and I wish pharand could get going…

It will be interesting to see if Delic and Konyen can start producing as so many of you see Delic as the top player when he plays with Musty and Goyette ha ha ha ha ha ha !!! The new first line was already clicking with McCallum and were dominant in the third. Those three can sure move the puck !

I like our D so far and I’m pretty sure Collins will start giving us more offensively. If he wants to sign his NHL contract he needs to step out a bit of his confort zone.

Vondras is VERY good down low we have a strong duo he makes the key saves when needed. We don’t need 6 goals every night to win games.

Thoughts from last night
-Toure has taken another leap in development and improvement to elite status.It's time for his numerous detractors on this board to take a step forward and do a mea culpa(apology).Thank god he was not traded
-Protz played well and might allow for the Wolves to dangle Chromiak in a trade for an elite scorer.If Dvorsky comes that would be a direction to take.
-Musty fell alkwardly after scoring the OT winner and being shoved in to th boards.It looked like he was favouring his shoulder.Let's hope it is not serious
-Krawchuk should begin to increase his crease time.Vondras has a penchant for giving up soft goals and seems like he has a grenade when handing the puck
-Wolves management really needs to do PSA announcements about fans moving during the course of play.It is disrespectful to impede the view of other fans during the game.I have been to many sporting venues and this would not be tolerated.Loyal fans miss critical plays and goals because of it.
-Hopefully a correction is around the corner and the Wolves will start to fill the back of the net more often.Secondary scoring from the middle six will have to improve.
A great atmosphere at the game last night and with more consistent victories the old barn should begin to be at capacity.
 
Two very good teams faced each other last night. Wolves were too soft in the early going however they played much stronger the next two periods thanks to them finally making checks and playing a dirtier game. Hence why McCallum was effective in the later stages. If he were to be moved we better have someone come in who will mix it up and offer up some lip service or else we will continue to get bullied with no response. Pharand, Coughlan and Yearwood started to take bodies as well.

Chromiak as much I think of Dvorsky were to report would be a valuable trade piece but wow has he ever improved. He will be very good by seasons end. Mania’s return is imminent so Paps will need to make moves.

Mauro just can’t play at this level. The trial should be over. I would have preferred the Wolves given that bit if ice time to DiGiantomasso.

Taylor is coming a long will be a good one. Just won’t see a ton of ice this year if he isn’t dealt at the deadline.

Toure was a difference maker last night without a doubt. It’s been a big add back there. Makes Anania and DeAngelios look very slow.

Goaltending was huge as well. Big stops when we needed them. Other than the miscue he had a great game.

Wolves management and ownership don't care about loyal fans, they're not the ones going to buy a beer 1-2 times per period and lining their pockets. We would have ushers who actually do their job if they cared about the hockey-watching experience.

So true I have visited many OHL barns over the years and by far Sudbury ranks by far the worst venue to watch a game, inconsiderate fans, security, and ushers seem invisible. Seems that it is only a barn not to watch and enjoy a game for some but a place to binge drink and carry on the tradition of a Sudbury Saturday Night. We have complained many times to Dario and to the Wolves office but nothing has ever been addressed.

I agree on Vondras, play Krawchuk on 3 game bender. Need to bear down and capitalize on our chances. I'm not convinced we have enough scoring on this team except for our top line. PP is terrible, have to come up with a better plan in that department.

Agreed. We had 2 very good lines Friday. You switch everything the game after ? Just not smart. Dumb. They just started clicking in the third. He wanted to play Larmand every second shift to neutralize Ottawa instead of pushing the pace with two solid lines. He’s too old school.

Might be jumping the gun here but this this game is over

They were lucky to win Friday and def did not deserve to win today.

McKenzie needs to have these guys prepared to play. If he can't, find someone who can.They weren't prepared to play Friday and def not today. The PP is disfunctional. Bigtime.

Faceoffs last two games hasn't been good. McCallum Friday and Delic today.

The personnel on this team concerns me. Doesn't seem to have a nice mix. They don't produce enough scoring chance's. Yes, they will add but will it be good enough to accomplish the goal.

Little early but I'd like to see some better play from Goyette and Musty. They might not like it but I can definitely see them back next year. They're obviously good players but their game at times is questionable. Guess that's why their back in junior right?

I hate dressing 7 D, it causes the lines to be mixed up often. In this game Larmand ejected were short handed now two forwards.
