Better second, despite some defensive breakdowns, good to see scoring coming from everywhere in the lineup.

Important win, should never give up any points against this Niagara squad and they accomplished that. Nice to see Villeneuve put up 3 points as well.

If they can get a good game in Sunday would go a long way towards playoff standings. Wonder who gets the start vs Kingston.

My guess is the new guy gets the start on Sunday.

need to win these games, scoring spread out. I didn't like giving up 4 goals need to clean this up, Vondras started well but seems to have hard time tracking pucks from long distance.

I think Vandenberg will start against Kingston.

I hope he does. I have a feeling Vandenberg eventually take over the grease. I'm sure Carolina' camp won't like it but it's about winning games.

I believe Vandenberg is from Dutch descent. We have had luck with a Dutch goalie in the past in Sebastian Dahm, he kind of reminds me of him in how he plays.

It will require burning a card to acquire a goalie that several on this board have been screaming to get (now). I don’t know of better options than the Niagara goalies unless willing to pay what might be considered extortion for DiVincentiis and his 3.78 GAA & 0.875 SV%.

No extortion but I’d almost guarantee there is no chance of DDV getting moved to Sudbury

I think for better or for worse, we have our two goalies on the roster now. Not sure which two will be here post deadline, but I don't see a trade for another.

For two fairly high picks I was definitely expecting more.


Hopefully the wolves can put the foot back on the gas a bit in the third. Second was not a good period.

Couldn't agree more. Hes made a couple of big saves. Solid 1st game imo
